and list layouts.

Use the built-in event post type, taxonomies, and admin settings to control single-

This plugin may load or link to third-party services as described below. Payment
gateways only run after you enable them and save your own credentials. Google Maps
embeds load when an event or location map is displayed with coordinates. Optional
share, calendar, directions, and messaging links open third-party sites only after
a visitor clicks them. Optional YouTube or Vimeo embeds load only when an editor
configures a video URL and the content is displayed or opened.

#### Payment gateways

 * **Stripe** — When Stripe is enabled and API keys are saved in plugin settings,
   Zeventra uses the Stripe PHP library to create Stripe Checkout sessions (and
   related payment lookups/refunds where admin tools require them) for paid bookings.
   Card payment collection is handled by Stripe Checkout. Booking identifiers may
   be included as Stripe metadata so payments can be matched to bookings on your
   site. [Terms of service](https://stripe.com/legal) | [Privacy policy](https://stripe.com/privacy)
 * **Manual payment** — Offline/manual payment is handled entirely on your site
   when enabled in plugin settings (no third-party payment API).

Payment data is sent to Stripe only when Stripe is enabled and configured. No payment
processing occurs until you enter your own API credentials.

#### Bundled frontend libraries

Calendar, slider, timeline, and other UI libraries — including FullCalendar, Swiper,
Flatpickr, and Font Awesome — are bundled locally under the plugin `libraries/`
directory and enqueued from the plugin when needed.

#### QR code generation

When QR tickets are generated, the plugin creates the QR code images locally on
the site’s server using the bundled QR code library. The ticket check-in URL is
processed locally, and no ticket or attendee data is sent to an external QR code
generation service.

#### Google Maps

Zeventra can display Google Maps for event and location pages.

When an event or location has latitude and longitude coordinates and the map section
is shown, the plugin embeds a Google Maps map in an iframe. The visitor’s browser
may then load map content from Google Maps / Google servers (often when the map
area becomes visible, because embeds use lazy loading). That means the browser may
communicate directly with Google while the map is displayed. No Google Maps API
key is configured or required by this plugin for these embeds.

Some templates and Elementor map widgets may also show a directions link. Opening
that link is visitor-initiated and takes the visitor to Google Maps in their browser.

The plugin uses Google Maps only to show location information associated with an
event or location. It does not send booking, attendee, or payment records to Google
Maps as part of the embed. Google may process browser and request information according
to its own policies when its service is accessed.

Service: Google Maps
 Website: https://maps.google.com/ Terms of service: https://
policies.google.com/terms Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Site administrators should review Google’s current terms and privacy documentation
for Google Maps / Google Maps Platform.

#### Social sharing

Event pages can show share links for Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.

These are visitor-initiated links. Zeventra does not call Facebook, X, or LinkedIn
APIs automatically. When a visitor chooses a share link, their browser opens the
corresponding service with the event page URL (and title where used by that share
endpoint). Further interaction is handled by that service under its own policies.

 * Facebook sharer: https://www.facebook.com/ — [Privacy policy](https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/)
 * X (Twitter) intent: https://twitter.com/ / https://x.com/ — [Privacy policy](https://x.com/privacy)
 * LinkedIn share: https://www.linkedin.com/ — [Privacy policy](https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy)

#### Add to calendar

Event pages can provide Add to Calendar links for Google Calendar, Outlook Live,
and Office 365, plus a downloadable local ICS file.

Google Calendar and Outlook/Office links are visitor-initiated. When a visitor clicks
a link, their browser opens the calendar service with event title, dates, description,
and location values prepared for that deeplink. Zeventra does not call Google or
Microsoft calendar APIs in the background. The ICS download is generated locally
in the browser and does not contact an external calendar API.

 * Google Calendar: https://calendar.google.com/ — [Terms](https://policies.google.com/terms)
   | [Privacy](https://policies.google.com/privacy)
 * Outlook / Microsoft calendars: https://outlook.live.com/ / https://outlook.office.
   com/ — [Privacy](https://privacy.microsoft.com/)

#### YouTube and Vimeo

Some Elementor widgets (for example Event Pricing and Coming Soon) allow an editor
to supply an optional video URL. That URL may point to YouTube or Vimeo (or another
video URL the editor enters).

When such a video is embedded or opened in a modal/iframe, the visitor’s browser
may communicate directly with YouTube, Vimeo, or the host of the configured URL
to load the media. Zeventra does not require YouTube or Vimeo API keys and does
not send booking or attendee records to those services. Use of YouTube or Vimeo
depends on the URL configured by the site editor.

 * YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/ — [Privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy)
 * Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/ — [Privacy policy](https://vimeo.com/privacy)

#### WhatsApp

The plugin can provide WhatsApp links for event-related communication (including
social share links).

When a visitor chooses to open a WhatsApp link, their browser or WhatsApp application
accesses the WhatsApp service. The plugin does not automatically send attendee or
booking information to WhatsApp unless the site administrator includes such information
in a configured message or link.

Service: WhatsApp
 Website: https://www.whatsapp.com/ Terms of service: https://
www.whatsapp.com/legal/terms-of-service Privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/
legal/privacy-policy

The service is used only when a visitor chooses to use a WhatsApp link provided
by the plugin.

## FAQ

### Is Elementor required?

No. The core plugin works without Elementor. Elementor is only needed if you want
to use the included Elementor widgets or build custom event templates with Elementor.

### Can I sell paid tickets?

Yes. Set a ticket price on an event, enable booking, and configure at least one
payment gateway under **Zeventra Plugin Settings Payment Settings**. Supported
gateways are Stripe and manual payment. Events with a ticket price of `0` use free
booking (no payment gateway required).

### Can I offer free events?

Yes. Set the ticket price to `0` or leave booking enabled without requiring payment.

### Does the plugin support recurring events?

Yes. Events can repeat daily, weekly, or monthly from the event editor.

### Can I limit how many tickets can be sold?

Yes. Use event capacity and maximum tickets per booking in the event booking settings.

### Can each attendee have separate details?

Yes. The booking form supports multiple attendees with individual name, email, phone,
gender, and age fields.

### Can I customize the event templates?

Yes. Copy template files from the plugin `templates/` folder into your theme to
override them. You can also assign Elementor templates to events, organizers, and
locations.

### Does uninstalling the plugin delete my events and bookings?

No. Uninstalling Zeventra removes plugin settings and temporary import data only.
Your events, bookings, attendees, and other content remain in the database.

### Where do I find shortcodes?

Go to **Zeventra Available Shortcodes** in the admin for a copy-ready list.
