Registered WordPress users can be assigned to a discount group by email address. When an assigned user is logged in, the configured group discount is automatically applied to eligible products in the WooCommerce cart and checkout. Features: * Create multiple customer discount groups * Set an individual percentage discount for each group * Enable or disable groups without deleting them * Create, edit, enable, disable, and delete groups from a fast AJAX-powered admin interface * Apply discounts automatically in the WooCommerce cart and checkout * Optionally apply group discounts to products that are already on sale * Optionally allow or block coupons together with group discounts * Save the applied group name and discount percentage in WooCommerce orders * Display discount group information in the cart, order details, emails, and WooCommerce order administration * Preserve standard form actions as a fallback when JavaScript is unavailable * No external services or third-party API connections The plugin changes prices only during WooCommerce cart and order calculations. It does not permanently modify product regular prices or sale prices. ## Installation 1. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` 2. Activate “Discount Groups for WooCommerce” 3. Go to WooCommerce Discount Groups 4. Create a discount group and set its percentage 5. Enter the email addresses of registered WordPress users 6. Select a group and assign the users 7. Configure sale price and coupon behavior in the Settings section 8. Log in as an assigned user and add a product to the WooCommerce cart ## FAQ ### Does this plugin require WooCommerce? Yes. WooCommerce must be installed and activated. ### Can discounts be assigned to guest customers? No. The customer must have a registered WordPress account and must be logged in for the group discount to apply. ### Can I assign several users at once? Yes. Enter one email address per line. Email addresses may also be separated by commas, spaces, or semicolons. ### Can a user belong to multiple discount groups? No. Each user can belong to one discount group at a time. When a user already belongs to another group, the plugin does not silently replace the existing assignment. To move the user, enable the explicit move option when assigning them to the new group. ### Can I search group members? Yes. Members can be searched by display name, username, or email address. Large member lists are paginated. ### Does the group discount apply to sale products? This is configurable. You can apply the group discount to the current sale price or exclude products that are already on sale. ### Can customers use coupons together with a group discount? This is configurable. Coupons can either be allowed together with the group discount or blocked for customers receiving a group discount. ### Does the plugin permanently change product prices? No. Product prices stored in WooCommerce are not modified. The discount is applied during cart and checkout calculations. ### What happens when a discount group is disabled? Users remain assigned to the group, but the discount is not applied until the group is enabled again. ### What happens to existing orders if a group is renamed or deleted? The group name and discount percentage applied at checkout are saved in the order. Existing orders keep this information even if the group is later changed or deleted. ### Does this plugin connect to any external services? No. The plugin does not send data to third-party services and does not use external APIs. ### What data is removed when the plugin is deleted? Plugin settings, discount groups, and user group assignments are removed during plugin deletion.
