Use the **Open Mobile App** button on an inspection in the admin dashboard.

This plugin optionally connects to:

API keys are stored in your WordPress database and only used when you enable these
features. No data is sent to these services unless you configure them.

#### Important Notes

 * AI output is always a **suggestion** — inspectors must review and approve before
   including in reports.
 * Reports are generated as **print-ready HTML** (use browser Print to PDF).
 * PayPal support is planned for a future release; Stripe is supported in v1.0.0.

## Installation

 1. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu.
 2. Go to **XCodesol Home Inspection Manager** in the WordPress admin.
 3. Follow the **Getting Started** checklist on the dashboard.
 4. Configure company branding, booking hours, and optional Stripe/AI keys under **
    Settings**.

#### Recommended Pages

Create two WordPress pages:

 1. **Book an Inspection** — add shortcode `[home_inspector_booking]`
 2. **Client Portal** — add shortcode `[home_inspector_client_portal]`

You can create these automatically from the plugin dashboard Getting Started checklist.

#### After activation

Visit **Settings  Permalinks** and click **Save** once to ensure mobile inspection
URLs work correctly.

## FAQ

### Do I need a separate SaaS subscription?

No. Core functionality runs inside your WordPress site. Optional Stripe and AI features
use your own API accounts.

### Can clients access WordPress admin?

No. Clients use the front-end portal with the `xchim_client` role. They only see
their own data.

### Does this generate PDF files?

Reports are professional HTML documents optimized for printing. Use your browser’s**
Print  Save as PDF** option.

### Is AI required?

No. AI is optional. Add an OpenAI or Gemini API key in Settings to enable it.

### How do I assign inspectors?

Create WordPress users and assign them the **Inspector** role under **Users**.
