Configure the phone number and message from wpgrock Chat Button > Settings. Features include: * Floating chat button. * Multiple button styles. * Custom message and dynamic variables. * Desktop and mobile visibility controls. * Homepage, page, post and WooCommerce product display rules. * Include or exclude content by ID. * WooCommerce product enquiry button. * Shortcode support. * Optional privacy-friendly click analytics stored locally. ### Privacy The plugin itself does not intentionally store visitor IP addresses, names, email addresses, phone numbers or chat message content. When optional click analytics are enabled by the site administrator, the plugin stores the page path, related WordPress post ID when available, device type and click time in the website’s own WordPress database. Analytics are disabled by default. When a visitor clicks a button, the visitor’s browser is sent to WhatsApp using a WhatsApp URL. The use of WhatsApp is governed by the applicable WhatsApp and Meta policies. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. ## Installation 1. Upload the plugin through Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, or install it from the WordPress Plugin Directory. 2. Activate wpgrock Chat Button. 3. Go to wpgrock Chat Button > Settings. 4. Enter your WhatsApp number with country code and without the plus sign. 5. Save the settings. 6. Optionally enable click analytics if you want to store local click counts. ## FAQ ### Does this work with WhatsApp Business? Yes. Enter the WhatsApp-enabled phone number with its country code. ### Does this work with WooCommerce? Yes. When WooCommerce is active, you can enable a product enquiry button from the plugin settings. ### Does the plugin store visitor IP addresses? No. The plugin does not intentionally store visitor IP addresses. Optional click analytics are stored locally and do not intentionally store IP addresses or chat message content. ### Are analytics enabled automatically? No. Click analytics are disabled by default and can be enabled by the site administrator in the plugin settings. ### What shortcode can I use? The preferred shortcode is [wpgrock_chat_button]. The existing [smart_whatsapp] shortcode is also retained for backward compatibility. ### How do I disable the floating button?
