Tracks start date, expiry date, status( active/expired), customer details, and original order. * **My Account Subscriptions**: Customers can view, manage, and manually renew their subscriptions from the “Subscriptions” page in My Account. * **Flexible Expiry Reminders**: Set a custom list of comma-separated days before expiration to send reminder emails (e.g., 30, 10, 3). * **Subscription Notes**: Tracks change logs (such as status changes and expiry date modifications) and allows custom notes to be saved for each subscription. * **WooCommerce Emails**: Integrates template-based customer emails for expiry reminders and expired alerts, customizable in WooCommerce settings. * **Manual Renewal**: Admin can trigger subscription renewal directly from the dashboard. Important: this is a lightweight subscription tracker. It does not process automatic recurring payments, automatic payment retries, or payment method changes. ### Shortcodes #### Restrict Content to Subscribers ``` [wpgps_content product_id="123"]Your protected content here...[/wpgps_content] ``` Displays the enclosed content only to logged-in users who have an active subscription for the specified product ID(s). Attributes: * `product_id` (or `id`): Single product ID or comma-separated list of product IDs (e.g. `product_id="123,456"`). * `require_all`: Set to `true` to require active subscriptions to all listed products, or `false` if having a subscription to any one of them is sufficient (default: `false`). * `status`: Subscription status to check (default: `active`). ### Developer API Other plugins and themes can check subscription statuses using the following helper functions: #### Check if a user has an active subscription ``` wpgps_has_active_subscription( $user_id, $product_id ) ``` Returns `true` if the user has an active subscription for the specified product, otherwise `false`. #### Retrieve user subscription IDs ``` wpgps_get_user_subscriptions( $user_id, $status ) ``` Returns an array of subscription post IDs for the user, filtered by status (defaults to `'active'`). Pass `''` to retrieve all subscriptions regardless of status. ### Manual Subscription Creation To manually create a new subscription for a customer: 1. Navigate to **WooCommerce** > **Orders** and click **Add order**. 2. Select the customer you want to assign the subscription to. 3. Click **Add item(s)** and then click **Add product(s)**. Search and add a subscription- enabled product. 4. (Optional) Click the **Edit** icon (pencil) next to the added product item. Under** Subscription Settings**, select a custom **Interval** and **Period** if needed ( leave them empty to use the default product settings). Save the item. 5. Set the order status to **Processing** or **Completed** and save/update the order. 6. Copy the `wpgenie-product-subscriptions-for-woocommerce` folder into `wp-content/ plugins/`. 2. Activate “WPGenie Product Subscriptions for WooCommerce” in WordPress admin. 3. Configure the plugin options under Subscriptions > Subscription Settings. 4. Open a WooCommerce product. 5. In the Product data > General tab, check “Subscription product”. 6. Add one or more plans under the “Subscription Pricing Plans” section, and save the product. 7.
