WP Uninstaller

Description

Sometimes, wouldn’t it be nice to uninstall or ‘reset’ your WordPress site?

That’s where WP Uninstaller comes into play. Once activated, you can choose from the following options:

  • delete (or keep) WordPress database tables
  • delete (or keep) WordPress ‘wp-config.php’ file
  • delete (or keep) all files and folders in your WordPress directory (yes, that means everything!)

Installation

1.) Upload wp-uninstaller.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory 2.) Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress 3.) You’ll be automatically re-directed to the uninstall page, where you can choose what to remove.

FAQ

Is WP Uninstaller plugin secure?

WP Uninstaller uses WordPress nonces, in addition to permission checks, to ensure only administrators can uninstall WordPress. It’s also recommended that you leave the plugin de-activated until you need it.
