Alipay, WeChat, & Credit Card Payments Work Seamlessly

On desktop devices:
*WeChat payments generate a QR code dynamically in the payment form for the end-user to scan using their mobile device to complete payment
*Alipay payments redirect the user to Alipay’s website, which displays a QR code for the same mobile payment process, then automatically redirects the end-user back to your selected thank you page upon payment completion
*Users are redirected to the Thank You page

On mobile:
*WeChat users must generate the code on another device and scan it with their WeChat app. A notification pops up on the form notifying them to do this.
*Alipay users are redirected to the corresponding payment website on their mobile browsers to complete payment.
*Users are redirected to the Thank You page

*This is the perfect plugin for business owners or entrepreneurs around the world who want to accept credit card payments from anyone and or businesses that want to accept WeChat and Alipay payments from Chinese consumers in China or traveling abroad.

If you’re living in China or a business targeting Chinese consumers and want to sell products/services to Chinese citizens with WeChat/Alipay accounts, then this plugin is for you. Stripe.com supports WeChat and Alipay, allowing you to bring the funds back to your home country. Simple and easy.

Credit Card payments are completed in the form directly for both mobile and desktop

Stripe.com pays out to your home country bank account (see details on Stripe’s website and more information below).

Please note:

  • You must have a verified Stripe.com account in a supported Stripe country to use this plugin.

  • Alipay and WeChat payments can only be accepted from Alipay and WeChat accounts that have been identity verified. Stripe cannot presently accept payments from unverified Alipay and WeChat accounts, but this may be subject to change.

*Credit card payments support subscriptions and one-time payments.

*Shortcodes allow you to customize each form to lock the payment amount or allow custom payment amounts, subscription frequency, currency, billing details, and more. Please read our docs for details.

*The plugin currently supports one payment page template, but we’re working on improving this layout.

  • WeChat & Alipay only support one-time payments from Chinese consumers. WeChat and Alipay payments cannot be set up for recurring subscription payments as they are one-time chargeable payment sources on the Stripe API. We will update the plugin if this changes.

  • The WP Stripe Global plugin settings will require API keys from a verified Stripe.com account in order to function properly for TEST and/or LIVE payment modes.

  • If you have any problems or need installation support, we kindly request you please contact us for immediate support BEFORE leaving negative feedback. We will do our best to resolve your issue or use your feedback to improve future releases.

We are constantly adding new features and payment options, so please feel free to submit feature requests or feedback here!

We offer limited support for free, but we will do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible within our available resources. We’re a growing team and appreciate your support and patience as we get a lot of requests.
