The plugin provides a sidebar widget, that displays the \nlatest trending topics of the german-speaking<\/strong> twitterspehre.<\/p>\n\n

It is highly customizable. You can choose, whether to \ndisplay #hashtags only or all topics. For hashtags, there are \nexplanations, so that visitors can understand, what e.g. #tcot means. \nThe explanations for hashtags come from the \ntwitter-account \"@definiere\", where everybody can explain a hashtag.<\/p>\n\n

Das Plugin stellt ein Widget für die Sidebar bereit, womit die aktuellen Twitterthemen aus der \ndeutschsprachigen Twitterspäre im Stile der Trending Topics auf Twitter.com angezeigt werden.<\/p>\n\n

Sie können in den Einstellungen wählen, ob Sie nur #Hashtags (rss-Feed) aus der deutschsprachigen Twitterspähre anzeigen lassen wollen, oder alle relevanten Themen (rss-Feed).<\/p>\n\n

Zudem haben Sie die Möglichkeit, Beschreibungen zu einzelnen Hashtags anzeigen zu lassen. \nDie Beschreibungen stammen aus den öffentlichen @replies der Community an \n@definiere (http:\/\/twitter.com\/definiere) #Hashtag Ihre_Beschreibung. Usage<\/h3>\n\n

  • Go to the Appearence \/ Widgets<\/strong> menu, <\/li>\n
  • Active the widget named: twitterthemen by dragging and dropping it on the sidebar-section<\/li>\n
  • Configure it, through the widget menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

    1. The plugin is available for download on the WordPress repository,<\/li>\n
    2. Download the file twitterthemen.zip<\/code>, and uncompress it,<\/li>\n
    3. Upload the resulting files to a folder in ..\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code>,<\/li>\n
    4. Activate Twitterthemen through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress,<\/li>\n
    5. The plugin is ready to be used.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n
