When Talkshoe's Dynamic widgets started shutting down (due to Clearspring turning off their API code), this widget plugin was born. It uses some of the existing Talkshoe API code along with PHP to achieve a decent replacement for the soon to be non-existent Talkshoe Dynamic widgets.<\/p>\n

To use this plugin once installed and activated, simply go to your Widgets page in your Admin area and you will find the WP_Talkshoe widget there, drag it to your sidebar and you will have two options that you can set...The title or name of the widget and the 5 Digit Show ID for your Talkshoe call.<\/p>\n
When your call is live, the widget will display a Live Now banner, your Show Title (with a direct link to your Talkshoe show page), the Host's name, the current Episode Title that is airing live, a Tweet This Now button, a Listen Now button that launches Windows Media Player or whatever streaming audio software you are using, a button to launch the Talkshoe Pro Client and a direct link to your show's RSS feed.<\/p>\n
When you show is not live, the widget displays the Show Title with a direct link to your show page, the Host's name and the RSS feed button.<\/p>\n
== Installation ==<\/p>\n
1. Upload wp_talkshoe.php<\/code> to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory or install via New Plugins section.
\n2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
\n3. Find the widget called WP_Talkshoe and drag it to your sidebar, set the two options described above.
\n4. To use in your templates, posts or pages, etc. use '[wp_talkshoe]' (without the quotes).
