In this way the plugin will work just as a way to format the box and downloads, which will be available to visitors right away.

2.1

MSWord and generic icons fixed. I raised version up to 2.1 because I mistakenly increased the wrong digit for the previous release. This way you WILL be notified of the new version.

1.2.1

Fixed nocredit variable for shortcode that made impossible to remove credits from post (not widget). I've messed the code up when I added the per-page feature a user requested. I had tested it for the widget only and assumed the shortcode kept working fine as before. My apologies. If you have xml codes appearing anywhere it's not mine. Your WP-installation has been hacked and probably all your plugins have been infected. Then click the Downloads button and add a title for the downloads box in the popup window, that will appear after the word "Download", or leave the input field empty to show the default text, to read "Download the files here"

To add a new widget, drag a new Downloads Box widget to your sidebar and complete title and path fields. Paths should be relative to your wordpress installation.

For example:
If your files are in www.yoursite.com/blog/downloads and your WP installation is in the "blog" directory, enter "downloads" only (no quotation marks).

Use "blog/downloads" whether your WP installation is under the root of your domain instead (AND for some reason you still have your plugins folder inside blog, just to keep consistent with above example)

New since version 1.2: If you want each page displaying different files, organize the files inside post/page-named folders ("sanitized" folder names) inside the above specified folder and only the files in the folders matching the post/page name will show.

FileType icons are determined by the extension, and both extensions must be present if a single file is compressed/archived for it to show the real filetype.
