The Diagonal Advertising Banner Plugin allows users to create a diagonal banner at the top right corner of a website with a text message and optional link. Besides using the Diagonal Advertising Banner<\/a> as an advertising text banner, many other uses are possible.<\/p>\n\n

  1. Download and unzip the diagonal-advertising-banner-plugin.zip file. Find the diagonalbanner.php file, and upload the 'diagonalbanner.php' file to the '\/wp-content\/plugins\/' directory via FTP. (Alternatively, you may search for this plugin and install it from within the wp-admin panel.)<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in the WordPress Admin panel.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on the \"Diagonal Banner\" link on the left menu under \"Settings.\"<\/li>\n
  4. Under the Basic Options, use the dropdown menu to allow the Diagonal Banner display to be \"Enabled.\"<\/li>\n
  5. Follow the Instructions on How to Use Diagonal Banner on the top of the page.<\/li>\n
  6. Check that your diagonal banner is showing near the top right corner on your WordPress blog.<\/li>\n

          Why does the banner not show?<\/h4>\n\n

          ** Please read this answer in the readme file that you downloaded so that all the characters display properly. **\nIf your current WordPress theme is not compatible with this plugin, you may need to edit the footer.php file of your current theme by adding the following code at the top of the footer.php file:\n\nAlternatively, to first check if the plugin is working, you can also try to preview or activate the default theme (Kubrick), and see if the banner is located at the top right corner. If it is, the plugin has been installed properly.
