The image's own alt text is never changed; the text Marvedo added is removed in one click.<\/li>\n<li>An internal link in a post's running text to another page of your site, on words the text already contains (never in a heading or an existing link). Every request is made by the user of the application password you gave Marvedo, with that user's permission to edit the content. It does not contact Marvedo or any other service by itself: Marvedo calls this plugin's REST routes (under \/wp-json\/marvedo\/v1\/) with the WordPress application password you created for it, and the plugin only reads or writes the fields named above.<\/p>\n\n<p>What Marvedo reads through these routes: whether the plugin and Yoast SEO or Rank Math are active, the SEO title and description of the post or archive it is about to change, the alt text of the image it is about to change, the content of the post it is about to add a link to. What it writes: only the changes you approved in Marvedo.<\/p>\n\n<p>IndexNow: when you apply or undo a change, Marvedo's servers tell IndexNow (https:\/\/www.indexnow.org; used by Bing, Yandex and others) the address of the page that changed, so those search engines read it again sooner. Only the page address and the site's IndexNow key are sent; the plugin creates the key and serves it at \/.txt so IndexNow can verify the request. The plugin itself does not contact IndexNow.
