Divisero lets your WooCommerce store show prices in your shopper's own currency and take payment in that currency, while your books stay in your store currency. Every feature on this page is in the free plugin, with no limit on the number of currencies.<\/p>\n\n
The name comes from the Italian and Latin divisa<\/em>, foreign currency.<\/p>\n\n Divisero Pro adds fixed prices per product and currency with a bulk editor and CSV import, more exchange rate services with hourly updates, rate history and alerts, currency rules by language, role, customer and URL, SEO currency URLs, fixed coupon and shipping amounts per currency, multicurrency reports and admin orders in any currency. It is a one-time payment. See Divisero Pro<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n Divisero works without any outside service. It connects to one only when you switch it on, and it never sends anything about your shoppers.<\/p>\n\n The European Central Bank (ECB) publishes official reference exchange rates for about 30 currencies once every working day. Divisero uses them to update your exchange rates automatically.<\/p>\n\n When: only when you switch on \"Update exchange rates automatically\" under Divisero, Exchange rates (it is off by default) with the European Central Bank as the service. Divisero then downloads the rates on the schedule you pick (twice a day, once a day or once a week), when you press \"Update now\", and once right after you add a currency while automatic updates are on.<\/p>\n\n What is sent: a plain request for the public file https:\/\/www.ecb.europa.eu\/stats\/eurofxref\/eurofxref-daily.xml. No data about your store, your products, your orders or your shoppers is sent. As with any web request, the ECB sees the IP address of your server.<\/p>\n\n This service is provided by the European Central Bank:<\/p>\n\n The \"Payment methods and currencies\" grid shows a \"Source\" link for each payment method: the provider's own page about the currencies it accepts (for example PayPal, Stripe, Square, Mollie, Klarna, Amazon Pay or Flutterwave). These are ordinary links that an administrator can click to read that page. Divisero never connects to these addresses and sends nothing to them.<\/p>\n\n The \"Test now\" button under Divisero, Cache loads one of your own product pages in each currency to check what your page cache returns. It only contacts your own site, and only when you press the button.<\/p>\n\n Divisero calls no geolocation service: the shopper's country comes from WooCommerce's MaxMind database stored on your own server, or from the country header your CDN already adds to each request. The order is created in the shopper's currency and the gateway is asked to charge in it. If you prefer, choose \"Shoppers pay in your store currency\" under Checkout and payments: prices are then shown as approximate and the order is charged in your store currency.<\/p><\/dd>\n Divisero hides that payment method for that currency. If you set a fallback currency, the method stays visible and the shopper is told before paying that the order will be charged in the fallback currency. You can override what Divisero knows about any gateway under Checkout and payments.<\/p><\/dd>\n Yes. Divisero detects the cache and picks the right mode by itself. For WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache and WP Super Cache, one button on the Cache tab (it says exactly what changes) makes the cache keep a copy per currency. For every other cache, CDN or host cache, prices are corrected in the browser right after the page loads, with no cache rule to add.
