It only contacts it for the modules you switch on:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Public pages<\/strong> load scripts from api.metaventus.com (cookie banner, chatbot, forms) and meet.metaventus.com (booking). The browser of each visitor then exchanges with Metaventus what these modules need: consent choices, chat messages, form submissions and appointment requests, plus technical data such as the page address, browser language and IP address.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Admin screen<\/strong>, only when an API key is set: your server calls api.metaventus.com to list your banners, chatbots, forms and booking pages and to check that your domain is allowed. The banner, chatbot, forms and booking pages are created and managed in Metaventus (https:\/\/metaventus.com); this plugin shows them on your WordPress site.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"is%20the%20api%20key%20exposed%20to%20my%20visitors%3F\"><h3>Is the API key exposed to my visitors?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. The key stays on your server and is only used by the admin screen to list your Metaventus items. Your public pages only receive the identifiers of the modules you switched on.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20the%20cookie%20banner%20block%20trackers%20before%20consent%3F\"><h3>Does the cookie banner block trackers before consent?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The banner script is printed first in the page head, before any other script, so consent can be asked before trackers load. Trackers added by other plugins or your theme must be declared in your Metaventus banner.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"which%20languages%20are%20supported%3F\"><h3>Which languages are supported?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The admin screen is in English and can be translated on translate.wordpress.org.
