Visitors click one of three smileys: <strong>liked it<\/strong>, <strong>it was ok<\/strong> or <strong>did not like it<\/strong>. After voting they see a thank-you message.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Three smiley buttons with a thank-you message<\/li>\n<li>Results in your dashboard: totals, percentage of happy visitors and results by page<\/li>\n<li>Show the meter at the bottom of every page, after page and post content, or only where you place the shortcode<\/li>\n<li>Shortcode <code>[happysmilepro]<\/code> with an optional custom question: <code>[happysmilepro question=\"Was this helpful?\"]<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Choose the colour of each smiley, the button shadow and the outlines<\/li>\n<li>Make the buttons smaller or larger (50\u2013200%)<\/li>\n<li>English and Finnish interface (English by default, or follow the site language)<\/li>\n<li>Lightweight: no external services, no tracking, no cookies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Privacy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>HappySmilePro does not store IP addresses or any other personal data. For each vote it stores only the page, the choice and the time. To limit spam, a one-way hash of the visitor's IP address, the page and your site's security keys is kept in a temporary WordPress transient for 24 hours. The visitor's browser also stores a small local flag (localStorage) so the buttons are not shown again after voting. No data is sent to any third party.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Upload the plugin through <strong>Plugins \u2192 Add New \u2192 Upload Plugin<\/strong>, or install it from the plugin directory.<\/li>\n<li>Activate <strong>HappySmilePro<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The meter now appears at the bottom of every page. Voting does not depend on a nonce that could expire on a cached page.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20many%20times%20can%20a%20visitor%20vote%3F\"><h3>How many times can a visitor vote?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>One vote per page per IP address per day is accepted. The visitor's browser also remembers that they have voted.
