This plugin grabs your bright location and displays it in a sidebar widget.<\/p>\n

The choice at the moment is between a textual location, or a full-blown Google map. The map can be customised to a particular size or zoom, to suit your blog.<\/p>\n

The map uses Google's static map API, so is converted to an image, no javascript required. For a Google map, you will need an API key, which can be obtained here: create a Google Maps API key<\/a><\/p>\n

Your location can now be cached, to save reloading from BrightKite every time.<\/p>\n\n\n

Install this plugin like any other. Just follow these instructions.<\/p>\n

  1. Upload iBrightKite.php<\/code> to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. Create a Google Maps API, and enter it on the iBrightKite page<\/li>\n
  4. Enable the widget from the widgets section (Design -> Widgets)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
