WordPress too, and changes go both ways.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Your website keeps showing your widgets even if ReviewSolicitors cannot be reached while you edit.<\/p>\n\n<p>The plugin needs a ReviewSolicitors API token, which firms with an active Premium membership can create in their dashboard under API Settings. Custom colours need the Widget Theming add-on.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin relies on ReviewSolicitors (https:\/\/www.reviewsolicitors.co.uk), the review platform your firm's widgets and reviews come from. It cannot work without it.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ReviewSolicitors API, from your WordPress site.<\/strong> When you connect, open the widget list, create, edit, preview, switch or delete a widget, and twice a day in the background, the plugin sends your API token and the widget settings you choose to https:\/\/www.reviewsolicitors.co.uk\/api\/v2\/widgets. It receives your firm's widgets and the widget previews. No visitor data is sent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>ReviewSolicitors embed script, from your visitors' browsers.<\/strong> On pages that show a widget, visitors' browsers load the embed script (https:\/\/www.reviewsolicitors.co.uk\/widget\/rs.js) and the widget content from ReviewSolicitors, exactly as with the copy-and-paste widget code. Under \"What is this token for?\" choose WordPress plugin, so the token can only manage your widgets.<\/li>\n<li>In WordPress, open ReviewSolicitors \u203a Connection, paste the token and select Connect.<\/li>\n<li>Open ReviewSolicitors \u203a Widgets and select Add widget.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20place%20a%20widget%20inside%20a%20page%3F\"><h3>How do I place a widget inside a page?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Add the \"ReviewSolicitors widget\" block and pick the widget, or paste its shortcode, for example <code>[reviewsolicitors_widget code=\"AbC123\"]<\/code>. You can copy the shortcode from the widget list.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20show%20the%20same%20widget%20on%20several%20pages%3F\"><h3>Can I show the same widget on several pages?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Either choose \"Chosen pages\" under \"Where it shows\", or place the block or shortcode on each page.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20show%20two%20widgets%20of%20the%20same%20type%20on%20one%20page%3F\"><h3>Can I show two widgets of the same type on one page?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Not yet. The ReviewSolicitors embed script shows one widget of each type per page, so place different types together (for example a Badge and a Carousel) rather than two Badges.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20happens%20when%20i%20disconnect%3F\"><h3>What happens when I disconnect?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Widgets stop showing on your website until you connect again. Your widgets and their settings stay in your ReviewSolicitors account.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"which%20data%20does%20the%20plugin%20send%3F\"><h3>Which data does the plugin send?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Only the widget settings you choose, sent to ReviewSolicitors with your API token.
