Telegram and WooCommerce are trademarks of their respective owners.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Choose which order statuses trigger a notification<\/li>\n<li>Works with private chats, groups and channels<\/li>\n<li>Sends in the background using Action Scheduler, so checkout is never slowed down<\/li>\n<li>\"Send test message\" button to verify your settings<\/li>\n<li>Compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>External service: Telegram Bot API<\/h4>\n\n<p>This plugin sends data to the Telegram Bot API (https:\/\/api.telegram.org) so that notifications can be delivered to your Telegram chat. No data is sent until you enter a Bot Token and Chat ID and select at least one order status.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>What is sent:<\/strong> your Bot Token and Chat ID (to authenticate and address the message), and the notification text: order number, customer billing name, old\/new order status, order total and currency, a link to the order in your admin area, and the date\/time. WooCommerce must be installed and active.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>WooCommerce \u2192 Telegram Notifications<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Create a bot with <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/BotFather\">@BotFather<\/a> and paste the Bot Token.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your Chat ID (a negative number for groups) and select the order statuses to be notified about.<\/li>\n<li>Save, then click <strong>Send test message<\/strong> to check that everything works.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20get%20my%20chat%20id%3F\"><h3>How do I get my Chat ID?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>For a private chat, send <code>\/start<\/code> to <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/userinfobot\">@userinfobot<\/a>. For a group, add your bot to the group and use the group's ID, which starts with <code>-<\/code>.
