That connection is required for the plugin to work; PDF generation does not run on your WordPress server.<\/p>\n\n<p>When you (or your theme\/plugin code) call a render, or when you use the admin \u201cSend test render\u201d action, the plugin sends an authenticated HTTPS request to your configured API URL (default: https:\/\/docuhook.com). The request includes:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Your DocuHook API key (Authorization header)<\/li>\n<li>The JSON <code>data<\/code> you supply (for example order fields you choose to send)<\/li>\n<li>The HTML template string you supply<\/li>\n<li>Optional filename and sync\/async mode<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In async mode, the plugin may also request job status and result endpoints for the same job.<\/p>\n\n<p>No data is sent until you configure an API key and a render is triggered.
