It was made for FeG churches (Free Evangelical Churches) in Germany, but every church can use it for free.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Sermon post type with speaker, topic, bible book and bible passage.<\/li>\n<li>All 66 books of the Bible in canonical order (German names), chosen in the editor with an ordered checkbox list.<\/li>\n<li>Topic groups with one image per group. Sermons without a featured image use the image of their group.<\/li>\n<li>HTML5 audio player. No external services, no tracking.<\/li>\n<li>Archive with filters for speaker, topic and bible book, plus expandable topic groups.<\/li>\n<li>Shortcode <code>[feg_predigten_slider anzahl=\"6\"]<\/code>: latest sermons as tiles with a player.<\/li>\n<li>Shortcode <code>[feg_predigten_archiv]<\/code>: archive with filters on any page.<\/li>\n<li>Optional Yoast SEO helpers: sermon description as meta description, thin taxonomy archives set to noindex.<\/li>\n<li>Compatible with existing data from Advanced Sermons (post type <code>sermons<\/code>, its taxonomies and audio \/ passage fields).<\/li>\n<li>Translation ready.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The plugin is free. If it helps your church, a donation is welcome (link on the settings page; the notice can be hidden).<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Not official:<\/strong> Kanzelbuch is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Bund Freier evangelischer Gemeinden in Deutschland Kd\u00f6R. \"FeG\" only describes who the plugin was made for.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Privacy and external services<\/h4>\n\n<p>The plugin does not contact any external server and does not collect personal data. Audio files are played from your own media library or the URL you enter.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Daily use<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Add a sermon:<\/strong> Sermons \u2192 Add new sermon. Enter the title and a short text, choose the audio file in the box \"Sermon details\" (\"Select audio\" or paste a URL) and type the bible passage (e.g. Luke 15:1-7).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Speaker and topic:<\/strong> tick or add them in the boxes \"Speakers\" and \"Topics\" on the right.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bible books:<\/strong> tick one or more books in the box \"Bible books\" (Old \/ New Testament, in biblical order).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Image:<\/strong> set a featured image, or leave it empty. Then the image of the topic group is used, and if there is none, the default image from the settings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Topic groups:<\/strong> under Sermons \u2192 Topic groups create a group and choose its image. Under Sermons \u2192 Topics you can assign each topic to a group.<\/li>\n<li><strong>On the website:<\/strong> visitors filter the archive by speaker, topic and bible book, open the topic groups and play the audio directly in the page.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show the latest sermons:<\/strong> <code>[feg_predigten_slider anzahl=\"6\"]<\/code> (1 to 24 sermons). With <code>gruppe=\"slug\"<\/code> only sermons of one topic group are shown.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Settings<\/strong> (Sermons \u2192 Settings): plugin templates on\/off, sermons per archive page, accent colour, default image, Yoast noindex option, donation link and QR code.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>Support<\/h4>\n\n<p>Questions or problems? If the post type and taxonomies already exist, the plugin reuses them. After switching you can deactivate Advanced Sermons; the data stays.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20override%20the%20templates%3F\"><h3>Can I override the templates?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Copy <code>templates\/single-sermons.php<\/code> to <code>your-theme\/feg-predigten\/single.php<\/code> or <code>templates\/archive-sermons.php<\/code> to <code>your-theme\/feg-predigten\/archive.php<\/code>.
