It works out related posts in the background and keeps them up to date, so visitors don\u2019t wait for it. It\u2019s optimized for German and English content; other languages work, too, with limits.<\/p>\n\n<p>The list ships without styles, so that it looks like the rest of the content. It can also be placed manually, via the <code>[ntrnllnk]<\/code> shortcode or <code>ntrnllnk_render()<\/code>, and filters allow changing its markup and the in-content links.<\/p>\n\n<p>A report under <em>Tools<\/em> \u2192 <em>ntrnllnk<\/em> shows each post\u2019s related posts, with scores, and its in-content links, as well as posts without a list and posts no list includes.<\/p>\n\n<p>The full documentation, including all settings and how scores work, is available <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/j9t\/ntrnllnk\">on GitHub<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"why%20do%20some%20posts%20have%20no%20or%20only%20a%20short%20list%3F\"><h3>Why Do Some Posts Have No or Only a Short List?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The list includes only posts related closely enough. If lists show unrelated posts, raise \u201cMinimum score\u201d; if fitting posts are missing, lower it. \u201cDebugging\u201d shows the scores to logged-in users.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"when%20do%20changed%20settings%20apply%3F\"><h3>When Do Changed Settings Apply?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Display settings apply right away. Settings that decide which posts are related apply after the rebuild that saving them starts, which takes a few seconds on most sites. If a page cache is in front of the site, it keeps showing the old lists until it gets cleared.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20the%20plugin%20work%20on%20large%20sites%3F\"><h3>Does the Plugin Work on Large Sites?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Up to a few thousand posts, rebuilds fit into the 256 MB that WordPress allows by default. Beyond about 4,000 posts, they may need more: Raise <code>WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT<\/code>, or the limit for ntrnllnk alone, via the <code>ntrnllnk_memory_limit<\/code> filter. Visitors don\u2019t notice the size of a site.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20the%20plugin%20work%20with%20other%20languages%3F\"><h3>Does the Plugin Work With Other Languages?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes, only less precisely: Without stopwords and stems, words are compared as they are.
