This plugin does nothing until you have entered your connection details.<\/p>\n\n<h4>What the plugin does on your site<\/h4>\n\n<p>Everything below runs inside WordPress, before anything is sent anywhere:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Listens to the submission hook of each supported form plugin, so existing and future forms work without any per-form setup.<\/li>\n<li>Skips spam, drafts and any form you exclude, and never reads password, file, hidden, captcha or payment fields.<\/li>\n<li>Recognises name, email, phone, company, country, service, budget and message from field types and labels, combines first and last name, and keeps every other field.<\/li>\n<li>Works out the country from an international phone number, the source page and UTM campaign values, and the visitor's marketing consent.<\/li>\n<li>Signs each request (HMAC-SHA256) and delivers it over HTTPS, with an optional local submission log, test button, and WordPress privacy export and erase tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>About RannCX<\/h4>\n\n<p>RannCX is a WhatsApp-first customer experience platform by Rannlab Technologies: shared team inbox, automation, campaigns and analytics in one workspace. Leads captured by this plugin arrive in your RannCX workspace. Create your workspace at https:\/\/cx.rannlab.com\/signup or sign in at https:\/\/cx.rannlab.com\/login.<\/p>\n\n<h4>How it works<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No per-form setup.<\/strong> Build a form with any supported plugin and it is captured. Forms can have any fields. You can switch individual form plugins on or off in the settings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spam is skipped.<\/strong> Submissions that a form plugin marks as spam are not sent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Smart field detection.<\/strong> Name, email, phone, company, country, service, budget and message are recognised from each plugin's field types first, then from the field label. If a form has separate \"First name\" and \"Last name\" fields they are combined.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nothing is dropped.<\/strong> Any other field on the form (a date, \"How did you hear about us?\", a dropdown) is sent too, keyed by its own label.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Country from phone number.<\/strong> If a form has no Country field, the country is guessed from an international phone number (for example +91 is India). An explicit Country field always wins.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Source tracking.<\/strong> Each lead includes the page it came from and its UTM campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Consent aware.<\/strong> If a form has an Acceptance, Consent or GDPR checkbox field, its state is sent as the marketing consent. Otherwise the consent value follows your setting (off by default).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Test button and log.<\/strong> Send a clearly labelled test lead from the settings screen, and optionally keep a short log of recent submissions to confirm delivery.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secure by design.<\/strong> The default connection uses an HMAC-SHA256 signed request (Key ID and Secret), sent from your server over HTTPS. Sensitive fields (password, file upload, hidden, honeypot, captcha, payment card) are never forwarded.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Privacy tools.<\/strong> Integrates with the WordPress personal data exporter and eraser, adds suggested privacy policy text, and deletes all its data when you delete the plugin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>Connection types<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Signed API (recommended).<\/strong> Your server posts leads to <code>POST \/api\/v1\/intake\/leads<\/code> on your RannCX address, signed with your Key ID and Secret.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custom webhook URL.<\/strong> Posts the lead as JSON to an HTTPS URL that you provide. This is unauthenticated, so only use a URL you trust.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>For developers<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li><code>rannlab_lc_payload<\/code> filters the complete payload before sending.<\/li>\n<li><code>rannlab_lc_should_send<\/code> lets you skip a submission programmatically (it also receives the form plugin slug).<\/li>\n<li><code>rannlab_lc_capture_utm_cookie<\/code> lets you tie the optional UTM cookie to your cookie-consent tool.<\/li>\n<li><code>rannlab_lc_log_retention_days<\/code> changes how long log entries are kept (default 30).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>Third-party plugin notice<\/h4>\n\n<p>This plugin is an independent product. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Forminator, Formidable Forms or Elementor. All product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to say which plugins are compatible.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin sends data to the Rannlab CRM (RannCX), a customer relationship management service operated by Rannlab Technologies. This is the whole purpose of the plugin, and it only happens after the site administrator has entered connection details.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What the service is used for:<\/strong> receiving the leads captured from your website forms.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What is sent and when:<\/strong> each time a visitor submits a form built with one of the supported form plugins on your site (and when an administrator clicks \"Send test lead\"), the plugin sends from your server to the address you configured (by default <code>https:\/\/cx.rannlab.com<\/code>):<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>the values the visitor entered in the form (for example name, email address, phone number, company, message and any other field except password, file, hidden, honeypot, captcha and payment card fields);<\/li>\n<li>the address of the page the form was on, and its title when it is a page on your site;<\/li>\n<li>UTM campaign parameters found in the page address or, if you enable the optional cookie, saved from the visitor's first visit;<\/li>\n<li>the visitor's marketing consent choice, a timestamp and the privacy notice version you set;<\/li>\n<li>a generated reference id for the submission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>No data is sent on page views, and nothing is sent before an administrator saves connection details. If you choose the \"Custom webhook URL\" connection type, the same data is sent to the URL you enter instead, and that URL's operator is then the recipient.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Service provider:<\/strong> Rannlab Technologies, https:\/\/rannlab.com\n<strong>Terms of Service:<\/strong> https:\/\/rannlab.com\/terms-and-conditions\/\n<strong>Privacy Policy:<\/strong> https:\/\/rannlab.com\/privacy-policy\/<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure at least one supported form plugin is installed and active.<\/li>\n<li>Upload the <code>ranncx-connect<\/code> folder to <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code>, or install the plugin from <strong>Plugins &gt; Add New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings &gt; RannCX<\/strong>. Enter your API base URL (<code>https:\/\/cx.rannlab.com<\/code>), and the <strong>Key ID<\/strong> and <strong>Secret<\/strong> issued for your RannCX workspace, then click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Send test lead<\/strong> and confirm it arrives in your CRM.<\/li>\n<li>Submit one of your forms as a real test. Turn on <strong>Submission log<\/strong> if you want to see what was sent.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>Under <strong>Form plugins<\/strong> you can switch off any plugin you do not want captured.<\/p>\n\n<p>If a form should not be captured (for example a site-search box built with the Form widget), add its name to <strong>Skip these forms<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"which%20form%20plugins%20are%20supported%3F\"><h3>Which form plugins are supported?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Forminator, Formidable Forms and the Form widget of Elementor Pro. Each one is read through that plugin's own \"submission completed\" hook, so no per-form setup is needed.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20work%20without%20any%20of%20them%3F\"><h3>Does it work without any of them?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Without a supported form plugin there is nothing to capture, and a notice is shown in the admin.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"are%20file%20uploads%20or%20payment%20details%20sent%3F\"><h3>Are file uploads or payment details sent?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. File, password, hidden, captcha and card fields are never forwarded.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20work%20without%20a%20rannlab%20crm%20account%3F\"><h3>Does it work without a Rannlab CRM account?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Leads are delivered to your Rannlab CRM (RannCX) workspace. You need the Key ID and Secret issued for it.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"where%20do%20i%20get%20the%20key%20id%20and%20secret%3F\"><h3>Where do I get the Key ID and Secret?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Sign in to your RannCX workspace at https:\/\/cx.rannlab.com\/login (new here? https:\/\/cx.rannlab.com\/signup) and copy the Key ID and Secret issued for your website. The plugin's settings page has direct links.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"is%20anything%20sent%20before%20i%20configure%20it%3F\"><h3>Is anything sent before I configure it?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Until you save connection details, the plugin does not contact any server and does not set any cookie.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20set%20cookies%3F\"><h3>Does it set cookies?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Only if you enable \"Campaign cookie\" in the settings. It then stores a first-party cookie named <code>rannlab_lc_utm<\/code> for 90 days containing the visitor's first-visit UTM parameters, and nothing else. Mention it in your cookie-consent tool or use the <code>rannlab_lc_capture_utm_cookie<\/code> filter to enable it only after consent.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"a%20form%20field%20landed%20in%20the%20wrong%20crm%20field.\"><h3>A form field landed in the wrong CRM field.<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Detection uses the field type and label. Renaming the label to something clearer (for example \"Company name\") fixes it. Every other field is still sent in full, so no data is lost.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20happens%20if%20the%20crm%20is%20unreachable%3F\"><h3>What happens if the CRM is unreachable?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The visitor's form submission is not affected. The failed attempt appears in the log (if enabled) with the reason. Failed leads are not retried automatically.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"is%20the%20country%20detection%20exact%3F\"><h3>Is the country detection exact?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. It only looks at the international calling code of a phone number starting with \"+\". A few codes are shared by several countries (for example +1), so the most likely country is used. An explicit Country field always takes priority.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20is%20removed%20when%20i%20delete%20the%20plugin%3F\"><h3>What is removed when I delete the plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>All plugin settings, the scheduled clean-up task and the log table.
