This plugin is the bridge between your WordPress site and the Clico AI Agent (a service by Clico, https:\/\/clico.ai). It does nothing on its own: it only answers requests that come from your own Clico account, authenticated with a WordPress Application Password that you approve in your dashboard.<\/p>\n\n<p>What the Clico AI Agent can do on your site through this plugin:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Create new blog posts as drafts.<\/strong> Posts are always created as drafts. They are published only when you click Publish in Clico (or in WordPress).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Upload photos<\/strong> from a free photo bank (or your own photos) to your Media Library, with alt text, and set the featured image.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Read and update SEO fields<\/strong> of your blog posts: SEO title, meta description, focus keyword and social title\/description. Works with Yoast SEO and Rank Math.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Edit the text of blog posts<\/strong> with small, validated changes, guarded by a content hash, so nothing is overwritten if someone edited the post in the meantime.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Undo.<\/strong> Every change keeps the previous state; posts created by Clico can be moved to the trash.<\/li>\n<li><strong>FAQ structured data.<\/strong> Posts created by Clico that include a FAQ get FAQPage JSON-LD in the page head, only while the questions are still visible in the post.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Safety by design:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Only blog posts can be changed. Pages (landing pages) are read-only.<\/li>\n<li>Publishing and removing only work on posts that Clico itself created.<\/li>\n<li>Content that adds scripts, iframes, style tags, event attributes or javascript: URLs is refused.<\/li>\n<li>Every route requires authentication and the capability to edit the content in question.<\/li>\n<li>The plugin does not collect data, show ads, or contact any server on its own.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin is a connector to the Clico service and needs a Clico account to be useful (the AI features run on Clico's servers).<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Clico (https:\/\/clico.ai).<\/strong> Your Clico account sends authenticated requests to your site's REST API (<code>\/wp-json\/clico\/v1<\/code>). The plugin never sends your data to Clico by itself; it only answers requests. Privacy: https:\/\/clico.ai\/en\/privacy-policy\/.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Photo banks: Pixabay (https:\/\/pixabay.com) and Pexels (https:\/\/www.pexels.com).<\/strong> When Clico asks the plugin to add a photo, the plugin downloads that image file from <code>pixabay.com<\/code>, <code>cdn.pixabay.com<\/code> or <code>images.pexels.com<\/code> (and only those hosts) and stores it in your Media Library. Approve it.<\/li>\n<li>Back in Clico, the connection shows as ready.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>You need an administrator or editor account to approve the connection. You can also delete the \"Clico\" Application Password under Users &gt; Profile.
