It runs on its own page with its own design and is only accessible to logged-in staff. Everything in this plugin works fully and without limits; there is no licence key, trial period or locked feature.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Files<\/strong> \u2013 shared and personal folders, version history, drag and drop.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Word and Excel<\/strong> \u2013 open and edit .docx and .xlsx files in the browser.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tasks<\/strong> \u2013 personal tasks, team tasks and tasks for a colleague.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Team<\/strong> \u2013 staff overview with roles, working days and contact details.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Date polls<\/strong> \u2013 find a date together; colleagues vote yes, maybe or no.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Order list<\/strong> \u2013 everyone adds what has run out; designated colleagues order per supplier by email and check off deliveries. Items with prices and minimum stock; import from Excel or CSV. Everything in Lite works fully and keeps working; there are no time limits or locked features.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Team+ (separate product)<\/h4>\n\n<p>The full version, Team+, is available separately at https:\/\/teamplus.foelbv.nl. It is not hosted on WordPress.org and is not required to use this plugin. Switching is easy: your files, tasks, team and polls stay where they are.<\/p>\n\n<p>Team+ adds:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Shared calendar with categories, private items, birthdays and calendar import\/export (iCal)<\/li>\n<li>Team chat with channels and one-to-one messages, photos and desktop notifications<\/li>\n<li>Leave registration with balances, approval flow and absence overview<\/li>\n<li>Roster planning with shifts, open shifts and swaps<\/li>\n<li>Webmail (IMAP\/SMTP) and, for Dutch practices, Zorgmail<\/li>\n<li>Address book with import from phone contacts and CSV<\/li>\n<li>Newsletters with templates, scheduling and statistics<\/li>\n<li>OneDrive and Google Drive as file storage<\/li>\n<li>The Team+ app for iPhone and Android, with push notifications, widgets and Face ID<\/li>\n<li>Optional module: vaccination campaigns with personal barcodes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to one external service, and only when the weather option is switched on (Admin \u2192 Branding \u2192 Weather):<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Open-Meteo<\/strong> (api.open-meteo.com and geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) \u2013 shows the current weather for the location you choose and lets you search for that location in the setup guide. Sent: the latitude\/longitude of the chosen location, or the place name you type in the search field. No personal data is sent. A page \"TeamPortal\" is created at \/team.<\/li>\n<li>Open that page as administrator; the setup guide asks for the name, logo, colour and language.<\/li>\n<li>Add colleagues under Team.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"staff%20can%27t%20log%20in%20%E2%80%93%20the%20portal%20says%20extra%20security%20blocks%20the%20login\"><h3>Staff can't log in \u2013 the portal says extra security blocks the login<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>A security plugin (for example Wordfence, Solid Security, WP 2FA or a reCAPTCHA plugin) adds a captcha or two-factor step for everyone. The portal has its own login screen and does not send staff to the WordPress login page, so that step can't be completed. Limit the captcha\/two-factor requirement to administrators, or exclude the portal page. Admin \u2192 System check lists the security plugins it detects.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"where%20are%20uploaded%20files%20stored%3F\"><h3>Where are uploaded files stored?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>In a private folder inside your uploads directory (wp-content\/uploads\/foel-teamportal-lite\/), protected against direct access. Files are only served to logged-in staff with access.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"who%20can%20edit%20shared%20word%20and%20excel%20files%3F\"><h3>Who can edit shared Word and Excel files?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The person who uploaded the file and administrators. By default the whole team can edit shared documents as well; you can switch that off under Admin \u2192 General.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20translate%20the%20plugin%3F\"><h3>How do I translate the plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The plugin is translation-ready.
