It uses multiple local detection signals and displays a responsive notice when blocking is detected.<\/p>\n\n<p>The free edition is fully functional and includes:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Multi-signal ad-block detection using local plugin assets and DOM checks.<\/li>\n<li>Classic Light responsive notice design.<\/li>\n<li>Instructions for mobile browsers, Opera \/ Opera GX, and browser extensions.<\/li>\n<li>English and Russian popup languages with automatic visitor-language selection and a manual language switcher.<\/li>\n<li>Custom English title, message, and reload-button text.<\/li>\n<li>Administrator bypass while logged in.<\/li>\n<li>URL-path exclusions for checkout, cart, account, login, or other sensitive flows.<\/li>\n<li>No required promotional branding on the public-facing notice.<\/li>\n<li>Multi-signal detection combines cosmetic bait elements, local ad-named probe files, and advertising-network script requests to improve detection of browser extensions and Opera's built-in blocker. See External services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The detector combines several independent methods because different blockers filter different kinds of advertising resources.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin includes the Freemius SDK for optional product analytics, licensing, upgrade checkout, and update delivery.<\/p>\n\n<p>When a site administrator chooses to opt in to Freemius, the SDK may communicate with Freemius servers and send installation, site, plugin, and account-related information as described by Freemius. Freemius also handles Premium licensing and Premium update delivery. The core ad-block detection itself runs locally in the visitor's browser and does not require Freemius.<\/p>\n\n<p>Freemius Terms of Service: https:\/\/freemius.com\/terms\/\nFreemius Privacy Policy: https:\/\/freemius.com\/privacy\/<\/p>\n\n<p>Ad-block detection network probes: Adqiro may create temporary script requests to <code>pagead2.googlesyndication.com<\/code>, <code>securepubads.g.doubleclick.net<\/code>, <code>www.googletagservices.com<\/code>, and <code>cdn.taboola.com<\/code>. These URLs are used as blocking probes because common ad blockers and Opera's built-in protection may prevent them from loading. When the browser does not block a requested script, the remote JavaScript may execute. Detection can request third-party advertising-network scripts as described under External services. This keeps the free plugin fully functional while avoiding an unnecessarily aggressive lockout.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20exclude%20checkout%20or%20account%20pages%3F\"><h3>Can I exclude checkout or account pages?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Add one URL path per line in <strong>Adqiro &gt; Excluded URL paths<\/strong>. Matching is performed from the beginning of the URL path and query strings are ignored.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20the%20detector%20request%20third-party%20ad-network%20scripts%3F\"><h3>Does the detector request third-party ad-network scripts?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. To detect blockers that allow first-party plugin assets but block known advertising networks, the detector creates temporary script requests to selected Google advertising and Taboola URLs. If a request is allowed by the browser, that remote JavaScript can execute before the temporary script element is removed. See External services.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20every%20ad%20blocker%20be%20detected%3F\"><h3>Can every ad blocker be detected?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No browser-side detector can guarantee detection against every blocker or a visitor who deliberately modifies or disables site JavaScript.
