The plugin calls your configured DekorGenie Site URL and API URL<\/strong> (defaults: https:\/\/dekorgenie.com<\/code> and https:\/\/api.dekorgenie.com<\/code>):<\/p>\n\n\n- Loads the hosted script
embed.js<\/code> and iframe \/embed\/{pathKey}<\/code> from the Site URL (widget UI and auth handshake)<\/li>\n- Catalog sync and \u201cTest connection\u201d use the API URL with your API key (
GET\/POST \/api\/public\/v1\/{pathKey}\/api\/...<\/code>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nNo arbitrary remote code is loaded from unknown third parties \u2014 only the DekorGenie origins you set in Settings. Account signup and usage are governed by DekorGenie\u2019s terms; optional AI catalog enrichment may consume DekorGenie org credits<\/strong> on the cloud side (not a WordPress paywall).<\/p>\n\nPrivacy<\/h4>\n\n\n- API key is stored in WordPress options and sent only to your configured API URL for catalog sync \/ connection test. It is never printed in public page HTML.<\/li>\n
- Product data (name, permalink, images, categories, prices) is sent to DekorGenie when catalog sync is enabled.<\/li>\n
- Visitors using the embed interact with DekorGenie\u2019s hosted widget (subject to DekorGenie privacy policy).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n

- Copy the site origin shown on the settings page into Allowed origins<\/strong> in the partner dashboard.<\/li>\n
- Use the shortcode or enable WooCommerce options as needed.<\/li>\n

\nDo I need a DekorGenie account?<\/h3><\/dt>\nYes. The plugin connects to the DekorGenie cloud service. Create a partner account at https:\/\/dekorgenie.com and obtain a path key and API key.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Is the plugin freemium or trialware?<\/h3><\/dt>\nNo. All plugin features included in this package are available without a WordPress license key or time limit. Optional cloud features (e.g. AI enrichment) are billed by DekorGenie on your organization wallet if you enable them \u2014 that is service usage, not a restriction of the plugin code.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Why does the plugin load a remote script?<\/h3><\/dt>\nThe room-design UI is a hosted application. The plugin loads DekorGenie\u2019s embed.js<\/code> and iframe from your configured Site URL so visitors use the up-to-date widget with secure nonce\/token auth. This is a documented external service dependency.<\/p><\/dd>\nDoes catalog sync lock or delete products in WooCommerce?<\/h3><\/dt>\nNo. Sync only pushes data to DekorGenie. It does not modify or delete WooCommerce products.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
