Everything is assigned to an author you choose (Author or Editor role \u2013 administrators cannot be selected). tiaki never logs in as a user and cannot change settings, plugins, themes or users.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Languages<\/h4>\n\n<p>Translations are provided via translate.wordpress.org \u2013 German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Polish and Turkish are prepared by the authors.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to <strong>tiaki<\/strong>, a service of INREMA GmbH, Germany \u2013 but only after you actively connect your site under tiaki \u2192 Connection &amp; settings. Before that, nothing is sent anywhere.<\/p>\n\n<p>After connecting:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>app.tiaki.de<\/strong> \u2013 when you click \u201cConnect with tiaki\u201d, your browser is redirected there to approve the connection. Sent: your site address, site name, plugin version and a one-time security value.<\/li>\n<li><strong>api.tiaki.de<\/strong> \u2013 the plugin exchanges a one-time code for a connection key, and afterwards sends a signed message when an article is published, scheduled, updated or withdrawn, or when you click \u201cShare via tiaki\u201d. Sent: title, text, excerpt, link, featured image address, categories, tags, author display name and publication date of that article. When you disconnect, tiaki is informed.<\/li>\n<li>tiaki calls this site's REST API (namespace <code>tiaki\/v1<\/code>, every request signed with the connection key and a one-time value) to create, schedule and update articles, upload images and move articles it created to the trash, to list published articles and to read the daily visitor totals. Choose a date and time in tiaki's calendar; the article is scheduled in WordPress and goes live automatically \u2013 with image, categories and tags.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"are%20new%20wordpress%20posts%20published%20to%20instagram%20automatically%3F\"><h3>Are new WordPress posts published to Instagram automatically?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>tiaki prepares the posts automatically, but you decide: every suggestion waits for your approval in tiaki.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20use%20chatgpt%20or%20claude%20to%20write%20and%20publish%20blog%20posts%3F\"><h3>Can I use ChatGPT or Claude to write and publish blog posts?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. tiaki works as an MCP server, so AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol can draft and plan posts and articles in your tiaki workspace. Publishing directly from the AI is off by default and can be enabled with two-factor authentication.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"do%20i%20need%20a%20tiaki%20account%3F\"><h3>Do I need a tiaki account?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The visitor statistics work without an account. Publishing from tiaki and post suggestions for social media require a tiaki account.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"do%20i%20need%20a%20cookie%20banner%20for%20the%20statistics%3F\"><h3>Do I need a cookie banner for the statistics?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The counter sets no cookies and stores nothing on the visitor's device unless the visitor has consented to statistics (for returning visitors). If you prefer, choose \u201cOnly after consent for statistics\u201d in the settings. Please check the legal requirements for your website with your data protection officer.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20work%20with%20caching%20plugins%3F\"><h3>Does it work with caching plugins?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Counting happens with a tiny script after the page has loaded, so cached pages are counted correctly.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"will%20the%20plugin%20slow%20down%20my%20site%3F\"><h3>Will the plugin slow down my site?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. The counting script is about 2 KB, loads deferred in the footer and sends one small request per page view. Messages to tiaki are sent in the background.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20happens%20when%20i%20deactivate%20or%20delete%20the%20plugin%3F\"><h3>What happens when I deactivate or delete the plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Deactivating keeps your statistics.
