It registers custom post types and taxonomies from a Flex admin UI so you can add portfolios, events, FAQs, and similar content without a snippet plugin.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Custom post types with labels, supports, archives, REST\/Gutenberg, rewrite, and Dashicon menus<\/li>\n<li>Custom taxonomies (category-style or tags) attached to any post type<\/li>\n<li>Starter templates for common site types<\/li>\n<li>Duplicate, enable\/disable, and bulk actions<\/li>\n<li>JSON import\/export and PHP code export<\/li>\n<li>Automatic permalink flush after save<\/li>\n<li>At a Glance counts on the dashboard<\/li>\n<li>WP-CLI list and export commands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Admin CSS and JavaScript ship with the plugin. No remote stylesheets, no telemetry, no calls home.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Privacy<\/h4>\n\n<p>Flex Content Types does not send data to FLEX or any third-party service. Definitions are stored in the WordPress options table on your site.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Limitations<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>This is not a custom fields plugin. Use Flex Fields (or similar) for extra meta boxes.<\/li>\n<li>Changing a slug after save is not supported; duplicate the definition if you need a new key.<\/li>\n<li>Deleting a definition does not delete posts or terms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Upload the <code>flex-content-types<\/code> folder to <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code>, or install the zip via <strong>Plugins \u2192 Add New \u2192 Upload Plugin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Activate <strong>Flex Content Types<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Flex Content Types \u2192 Post Types<\/strong> and add a type or pick a template.<\/li>\n<li>Optional: add a taxonomy and attach it to the new type.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"who%20can%20manage%20types%3F\"><h3>Who can manage types?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Administrators (<code>manage_options<\/code>). Delete removes only the definition. Posts and terms stay in the database.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20happens%20when%20i%20uninstall%3F\"><h3>What happens when I uninstall?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>By default the plugin removes its settings and definitions. It never deletes posts or terms. You can keep definitions in Settings.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20move%20types%20to%20php%20later%3F\"><h3>Can I move types to PHP later?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Tools \u2192 Get PHP copies <code>register_post_type<\/code> \/ <code>register_taxonomy<\/code> code.
