It answers one question: <em>is my WordPress updated, supported, secure and well configured?<\/em><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PHP checks<\/strong> \u2014 version and support status, memory limit, display_errors, required extensions, and PECL assumptions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>WordPress core<\/strong> \u2014 installed version vs latest available.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Updates<\/strong> \u2014 plugins and themes with pending updates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Security<\/strong> \u2014 HTTPS, XML-RPC, file editing (DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT), debug mode and security headers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Site health<\/strong> \u2014 cron and loopback checks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vulnerability scanning<\/strong> \u2014 checks installed components against the public WPVulnerability database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Diagnostic checks run locally on your own server with no accounts, no API keys, and no telemetry. To identify known security vulnerabilities in your installed components, the plugin queries the public WPVulnerability API. Results are cached with WordPress transients (12 hours by default) so it has negligible overhead.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to an external API to obtain security vulnerability information for your WordPress installation.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Service name:<\/strong> WPVulnerability API (provided by ROBOTSTXT, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona, Spain).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Service URL:<\/strong> https:\/\/www.wpvulnerability.net\/<\/li>\n<li><strong>What data is sent and when:<\/strong> Only software identifiers (slugs) and installed version numbers of WordPress core, installed plugins, and active themes are transmitted. Data is sent via HTTPS GET requests only when an administrator triggers a manual scan or when a scheduled diagnostic scan runs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Privacy and data protection:<\/strong> No personal data, user credentials, passwords, cookies, or site content are transmitted or stored.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Terms of Service:<\/strong> https:\/\/www.robotstxt.es\/legal\/<\/li>\n<li><strong>Privacy Policy:<\/strong> https:\/\/www.wpvulnerability.com\/privacy\/<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Upload the <code>zer0sh-site-health-monitor<\/code> folder into <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> (or install the ZIP via the WordPress Plugins screen).<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin through the <em>Plugins<\/em> screen in WordPress.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Health Monitor<\/strong> in the admin sidebar and click <strong>Scan now<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>Requirements: WordPress 6.5+ and PHP 7.4+.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"does%20this%20plugin%20collect%20personal%20data%20from%20my%20site%3F\"><h3>Does this plugin collect personal data from my site?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. No personal data or sensitive information leaves your installation.
