It cannot work without it.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Connecting<\/strong> (when you click \"Connect\"): your browser is sent to https:\/\/wowpilot.com\/connect\/wordpress with your site's address, its name and a one-time security code, so you can approve the site. Your site then exchanges the returned one-time code for an API key at https:\/\/wowpilot.com\/api\/v1\/connect\/token.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Showing reviews<\/strong> (when a page with a widget is viewed and the 15-minute cache has expired, and when you open the plugin's admin pages): your site requests your business's rating, reviews and the chosen widget options from https:\/\/wowpilot.com\/api\/v1\/me and https:\/\/wowpilot.com\/api\/v1\/widget, sending its API key. No data about your visitors is sent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Images<\/strong>: reviewers' profile pictures, review photos and your logo are loaded by visitors' browsers from Wowpilot or from the service that hosts them (for example, Google for imported listings).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Disconnecting<\/strong>: your site tells https:\/\/wowpilot.com\/api\/v1\/disconnect to revoke its key.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reviews inbox and replies<\/strong> (when you open the Reviews page or post a reply): your site reads your reviews from https:\/\/wowpilot.com\/api\/v1\/reviews and sends your reply text to https:\/\/wowpilot.com\/api\/v1\/reviews\/{id}\/reply.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Invitations<\/strong> (only when you send them, or switch on automatic invitations for WooCommerce): the customer's email address, name, order number and the names of the products in the order are sent to https:\/\/wowpilot.com\/api\/v1\/invitations, and Wowpilot emails the customer an invitation to review. Past invitations are read from the same address to list them. The plugin shows the reviews of your business page on Wowpilot. They are reviews of your shop written by real buyers of that product.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20visitors%20write%20a%20review%20on%20my%20site%3F\"><h3>Can visitors write a review on my site?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>They start on your site with the \"Rate us\" stars and write the review on Wowpilot. Reviews are written and moderated there so that nobody can fill your page with reviews that cannot be checked.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20does%20a%20paid%20wowpilot%20plan%20add%3F\"><h3>What does a paid Wowpilot plan add?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Things Wowpilot itself does for you: emailing invitations to your customers (by hand or after WooCommerce orders), publishing your public replies, showing reviews imported from other platforms in your widgets, and rating data for search engines.
