Use the arrow buttons\nto change the order, Remove to drop a town, or Add town manually to enter coordinates\nyourself. Everything else on that screen is a default for the shortcodes and blocks.<\/p>\n\n<p>The panel at the bottom of the settings screen records recent save attempts, which is\nuseful if you need to report a problem.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"do%20i%20need%20an%20api%20key%3F\"><h3>Do I need an API key?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Simbe Weather Ticker uses Open-Meteo, which is free and keyless.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"who%20provides%20the%20weather%20data%20and%20can%20i%20use%20it%3F\"><h3>Who provides the weather data and can I use it?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Open-Meteo, under the CC BY 4.0 data licence. Their free API is limited to 10,000 calls per\nday and to non-commercial sites, so this plugin suits private, non-profit and hobby sites. Read\ntheir Terms of Use at https:\/\/open-meteo.com\/en\/terms and their Privacy Policy at\nhttps:\/\/open-meteo.com\/en\/terms#privacy before you rely on the data.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"why%20is%20the%20ticker%20empty%3F\"><h3>Why is the ticker empty?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The ticker needs at least one town. Add towns under Settings &gt; Simbe Weather Ticker.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20often%20is%20the%20weather%20refreshed%3F\"><h3>How often is the weather refreshed?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Forecasts are cached for 30 minutes by default. Use Clear weather cache on the settings\nscreen to fetch fresh data immediately.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n<!--section=changelog-->\n<h4>1.1.0<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Renamed the plugin to Simbe Weather Ticker and moved it to the simbe-weather-ticker slug, so the\nplugin now has a distinctive name and its prefixes are no longer generic.<\/li>\n<li>The shortcodes are now <code>[simbe_weather_ticker]<\/code> and <code>[simbe_weather_table]<\/code>.
