Rapid Indexer<\/h4>\n\n
When you submit or check URLs, the plugin sends those URLs, the engines you selected, an optional title, Brave keywords, and your API key to https:\/\/rapid-indexer.com\/api\/v1\/index.php<\/code>. IndexNow<\/h4>\n\n
IndexNow notifies participating search engines that a public URL on this site has changed. It is used only when an administrator enables IndexNow and then publishes, updates, or submits a URL.<\/p>\n\n
It sends the public URL, this site's host, and this site's IndexNow key to https:\/\/api.indexnow.org\/indexnow<\/code>. The key file is public at https:\/\/your-site.example\/{key}.txt<\/code> and contains only that key. It does not send the Rapid Indexer API key, post content, account data, or visitor data. IndexNow does not use Rapid Indexer credits.<\/p>\n\nThis service is provided by IndexNow.org. Its terms of service include the privacy statement, under the heading Privacy.<\/p>\n\n

Does publishing a post spend credits?<\/h3><\/dt>\nOnly if you tick Google, Bing, or Brave for \"On publish\" or \"On update\". Those actions use your Rapid Indexer credits. IndexNow is free. All of these options are off until you turn them on.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Does this guarantee that Google will index the page?<\/h3><\/dt>\nNo. Rapid Indexer submits the URL for crawling. The search engine decides whether to index it.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Which URLs can IndexNow submit?<\/h3><\/dt>\nOnly public URLs on this WordPress site. Pasted URLs on other domains are skipped for IndexNow.<\/p><\/dd>\n
What is the difference between Rapid Indexer and IndexNow?<\/h3><\/dt>\nIndexNow is a free protocol supported by Bing and other participating search engines. Google does not use IndexNow. Rapid Indexer submits URLs to Google, Bing and Brave through your Rapid Indexer account. You can turn on either or both.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Does it work with WooCommerce?<\/h3><\/dt>\nYes. Products appear in the post type list. Tick them to submit products when they are published or updated.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Does it work with Yoast SEO and Rank Math?<\/h3><\/dt>\nYes. For Brave Search Boost, you can use the focus keyphrase from Yoast SEO or Rank Math as the keyword for each URL.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Can I check whether a page is indexed?<\/h3><\/dt>\nYes. Use \"Check index\" on a post, the bulk action, or the Submit URLs screen with the index check option. Results appear on the Tasks screen.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Will it slow down my site?<\/h3><\/dt>\nNo. It adds no scripts or styles to your pages. The only public addition is the small IndexNow key file, when IndexNow is on. Requests are sent only when content is published, updated or submitted, and statuses are refreshed once an hour in the background.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
