Salesforce Connect (Salesforce Connection Setup)<\/h3>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Salesforce Connect \u2192 Salesforce Connect<\/li>\n<li>Select Salesforce Environment:\n\n<ul>\n<li>Production (Live)<\/li>\n<li>Sandbox (Testing)<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<li>Enter your Salesforce OAuth credentials:\n\n<ul>\n<li>Client ID<\/li>\n<li>Client Secret<\/li>\n<li>Redirect URL<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<li>Click Connect Account<\/li>\n<li>Log in to your Salesforce account and approve access<\/li>\n<li>Once connected, your Salesforce account details will be displayed<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>This step is required before creating any feeds.<\/p>\n\n<h3>2. Test Connection<\/h3>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to Salesforce Connect \u2192 Test Connection<\/li>\n<li>Click the Test Connection button<\/li>\n<li>The plugin will verify:\n\n<ul>\n<li>OAuth authentication<\/li>\n<li>Access token validity<\/li>\n<li>Salesforce API connectivity<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>A success or error message will be shown based on the result.<\/p>\n\n<h3>3. Feeds (Core Configuration)<\/h3>\n\n<p>Feeds control how Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor, and Formidable Forms submissions are sent to Salesforce.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Create a New Feed<\/h3>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Salesforce Connect \u2192 Feeds<\/li>\n<li>Click Add New Feed<\/li>\n<li>Configure the feed as follows:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>a) Select Form Type and Form<\/p>\n\n<p>Choose the form type (Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor, or Formidable Forms), then select the form you want to integrate.<\/p>\n\n<p>b) Select Salesforce Object<\/p>\n\n<p>Select the Salesforce object where data should be sent:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Contact<\/li>\n<li>Account<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity<\/li>\n<li>Lead<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>c) Field Mapping<\/p>\n\n<p>Once the form and object are selected, the Field Mapping section appears.<\/p>\n\n<p>Map Salesforce properties to your selected form fields.<\/p>\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Salesforce Field: Last Name \u2192 Form Field: Name<\/li>\n<li>Salesforce Field: Email \u2192 Form Field: Email<\/li>\n<li>Salesforce Field: Phone \u2192 Form Field: Phone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Mandatory Salesforce fields must be mapped before saving the feed.<\/p>\n\n<p>d) Feed Status<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Enable or disable the feed using the Active \/ Inactive toggle<\/li>\n<li>Only active feeds will send data to Salesforce<\/li>\n<li>Click Save Feed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Once saved and active, submissions from the selected form will be sent to Salesforce automatically.<\/p>\n\n<h3>4. Logs<\/h3>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Salesforce Connect \u2192 Logs<\/li>\n<li>View API request and response logs<\/li>\n<li>Useful for:\n\n<ul>\n<li>Debugging failed submissions<\/li>\n<li>Checking Salesforce API errors<\/li>\n<li>Verifying successful record creation<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<li>You can also add internal notes to Salesforce records directly from the log screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h3>5. Settings<\/h3>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to Salesforce Connect \u2192 Settings<\/li>\n<li>Configure global plugin options such as:\n\n<ul>\n<li>Enable \/ disable logging<\/li>\n<li>Delete plugin data on uninstall<\/li>\n<li>Log retention period<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/li>\n<li>Save changes as required<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to Salesforce CRM (Salesforce, Inc.) to authenticate administrators and send mapped form submission data to Salesforce objects (Contacts, Accounts, Opportunities, and Leads).<\/p>\n\n<p>Service provider: Salesforce, Inc. \u2014 https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/<\/p>\n\n<p>Domains \/ hosts used by this plugin:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>https:\/\/login.salesforce.com \u2014 Production OAuth authorization and token endpoints<\/li>\n<li>https:\/\/test.salesforce.com \u2014 Sandbox OAuth authorization and token endpoints<\/li>\n<li>Your connected Salesforce instance URL returned during OAuth (commonly a host such as https:\/\/&#042;.salesforce.com, https:\/\/&#042;.my.salesforce.com, or https:\/\/&#042;.force.com). All subsequent REST API requests (create\/update records, SOQL queries, object describe, and notes) are sent to that instance URL.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>What data is sent and when:<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>OAuth authentication (administrator-initiated only)\n\n<ul>\n<li>When: Only when a site administrator clicks Connect Account (or when an access token is refreshed).<\/li>\n<li>Data sent: Client ID, Client Secret, authorization code \/ refresh token, redirect URI, and PKCE code verifier.
