Wexofy Quick Order Status skips that: the\ncoloured status badge WooCommerce already shows in the orders list becomes a dropdown\nyou can change without leaving the screen.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Click the badge, pick a new status, it saves instantly over AJAX \u2014 no page reload.<\/li>\n<li>Reads every status <strong>WooCommerce itself<\/strong> returns (<code>wc_get_order_statuses()<\/code>), so\ncustom statuses added by your shipping, payment or subscription plugins show up\nautomatically. Nothing is hard-coded.<\/li>\n<li>Saves through the same <code>WC_Order::update_status()<\/code> flow as WooCommerce's own order\nscreen, so status-change hooks, emails and stock adjustments other plugins rely on\nkeep firing exactly as before.<\/li>\n<li>A failed save reverts the dropdown to its previous value and shows why.<\/li>\n<li>Works with classic (post-based) orders and High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).<\/li>\n<li>No settings screen \u2014 install it and the dropdown is just there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The plugin is completely free and fully functional.
