ESM Consumer Evaluation turns a WordPress site into a practical consumer evaluation channel.<\/p>\n\n
After activation, the plugin opens a guided dashboard with two primary setup paths:<\/p>\n\n

Select one or several content types and then choose a participation policy:<\/p>\n\n You can also use Open Target Evaluation<\/strong> when the subject itself is a product, service, business, organization, campaign, public figure\/public profile, content item, or another dedicated target.<\/p>\n\n Choose the target type, enter the public name, and create it. The next screen provides a ready-to-copy shortcode plus optional ESM IDX, Global statistics, and external-reputation controls.<\/p>\n\n For person-related targets, use public figures, public professional profiles, or profiles with explicit consent. Do not create evaluation targets for private individuals.<\/p>\n\n Renders a complete local evaluation interface on standalone sites. On an ESM Core site where Core still owns evaluation writes, the shortcode delegates rendering to the current Core Evaluation Provider, so a selected post or page can display one canonical Core-owned form without creating a second writer.<\/p>\n\n Optional attributes: Renders the local \/ ESM Global \/ external reputation comparison panel without an evaluation form.<\/p>\n\n Optional attributes: ESM Consumer Evaluation can register itself with the ESM Platform service-provider registry using service key The first public release intentionally treats existing ESM Core installations conservatively:<\/p>\n\n This makes the plugin suitable for both standalone WordPress sites and a gradual ESM Core decomposition path.<\/p>\n\n Administrators can add external reputation references to an evaluation target, for example an official product page, Google review page, shopping-platform review page, or another public source.<\/p>\n\n Version 1.0.0 uses explicit administrator-provided links. It does not scrape external sites and it does not automatically call Google, shopping, or portal APIs.<\/p>\n\n If an administrator enters a rating snapshot, the plugin displays that source separately with its own scale. External ratings are never mathematically merged into the local or ESM Global score.<\/p>\n\n The plugin includes an optional connector for an ESM-compatible IDX and aggregate-statistics API.<\/p>\n\n This connector is disabled by default and has no default endpoint. A statistics refresh contains the ESM IDX in the request URL. Version 1.0.0 does not automatically upload evaluation entries, names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or review text.<\/p>\n\n Because the endpoint is chosen and configured by the site administrator, the administrator is responsible for reviewing that service's terms and privacy policy before enabling it.<\/p>\n\n For logged-in evaluations, the plugin stores the local WordPress user ID, score, optional review text, and submission time.<\/p>\n\n For guest evaluations, JavaScript creates a random browser identifier in localStorage. The site uses a one-way hash of that identifier for duplicate prevention. The plugin does not store the visitor IP address.<\/p>\n\n WordPress personal-data exporter and eraser integrations are included for logged-in evaluations.
