The 3rd-party Private Files plugin tightens the security of private posts by preventing clever users from obtaining unauthorized \naccess to contained images and other attachments.<\/p>\n\n

Private Files was enhanced to respect the access permissions of the Social Access Control plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Upload private-files-for-social-privacy<\/code> to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. Plugin setting is under 'Manage->Social Private Files' page<\/li>\n

    For RSS users, an optional 'Unique URL authentication' plugin can be used to automatically get authorized via personalized feed URLs<\/p>\n\n
