All included shipment-management and public-tracking features work without an account, license key, trial, quota, or paid upgrade.

Features include:

Unique high-entropy tracking numbers with an optional custom prefix

Shipment status, origin, destination, current location, schedule, and delivery estimate

Append-only tracking history in the normal WordPress editing workflow

Public
[njixhost_shipment_tracking]
search form and privacy-limited REST response

Optional OpenStreetMap location view or Google route map

Google address autocomplete and draggable origin, current-location, and destination points

Company logo, contact details, brand color, and configurable public party-name visibility

Scanner-compatible Code 39 shipment barcodes

Downloadable branded shipment receipt PDF

Multiple package rows, dimensions, weight, volume, and volumetric-weight totals

Administrator-defined shipment types, statuses, couriers, service modes, currencies, and piece types

Client and administrator status-update email templates with documented merge tags

Dedicated shipment-manager role and granular WordPress capabilities

Nonces, capability checks, input validation, output escaping, and public request rate limiting

Maps are disabled by default. Administrators can explicitly select OpenStreetMap or Google Maps in Map Setup. Phone numbers, email addresses, and street addresses are not included in public tracking results or the public REST response.

External services

The plugin does not contact NJIXHOST or any licensing, analytics, advertising, or telemetry service.

Maps are disabled by default. If a site administrator selects a map provider, shipment administration and public tracking pages can load resources directly from that provider:

OpenStreetMap embeds are loaded from
openstreetmap.org
. OpenStreetMap's privacy policy is available at https://osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.

Google Maps scripts and embeds are loaded from
maps.googleapis.com
,
google.com
, and
maps.google.com
using the API key supplied by the site administrator. Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy and its Maps Platform terms at https://cloud.google.com/maps-platform/terms.

Those providers may receive technical request data such as the visitor's IP address, browser information, referrer, and the route or location requested. Selecting a provider in Map Setup is the administrator's explicit opt-in to these connections.

Privacy

The plugin stores shipment data as WordPress posts and post metadata. Depending on what an operator enters, that data can include shipper and receiver names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, route locations, package details, administrative comments, and status history.

Public tracking intentionally excludes phone numbers, email addresses, and street addresses. Administrators control whether party names appear. Shipment email notifications are disabled by default. The plugin adds suggested disclosure text to Settings > Privacy for use in the site's privacy policy.

Public tracking lookups use a short-lived, one-way hash of the requester IP address in a WordPress transient to apply rate limiting. The raw IP address is not stored by the plugin.

Hosting

Developed by NJIXHOST. An optional hosting link is available on the plugin settings page. Hosting purchases are not required to use any plugin feature. The plugin does not send referral identifiers, analytics, or site data to NJIXHOST.

Upload the plugin ZIP from Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, or install it from the WordPress Plugin Directory.

Activate NJIXHOST Shipment Tracking & Logistics.

Open Logistics Tracking > Settings and configure company details and public-result preferences.

Create a page and add the
[njixhost_shipment_tracking]
shortcode. The legacy
[logistics_package_tracking]
alias remains supported for existing pages.

Add and publish shipments under Shipments in WordPress administration.

The plugin does not create or publish a page automatically.

Does the plugin require a license or an external account?

No. Every feature included in this WordPress.org edition works locally without a license key, external account, trial, or quota.

Are shipper and receiver contact details public?

Shipper and receiver names are hidden by default. OpenStreetMap does not require an API key.
