You must create a system user in your Meta Business Portfolio and generate a permanent token with the <code>whatsapp_business_messaging<\/code> and <code>whatsapp_business_management<\/code> permissions.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20it%20be%20used%20on%20shared%20hosting%3F\"><h3>Can it be used on shared hosting?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. The plugin includes specific configuration for shared hosting that adjusts the behavior of the SSE stream and recovery polling.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20agents%20see%20the%20access%20token%3F\"><h3>Can agents see the Access Token?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. The Access Token and App Secret are encrypted before being saved and are never delivered to the browser. Agents with the \"CRM Agent\" role do not have the <code>wacrm_view_credentials<\/code> capability.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20happens%20if%20the%20webhook%20connection%20is%20lost%3F\"><h3>What happens if the Webhook connection is lost?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Messages are persisted in MySQL within a transaction before returning 200 to Meta.
