See the FAQ.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects your storefront to EcomAudio, a third-party service, so the audio player can load its configuration and record anonymous play counts.<\/p>\n\n<p>When a visitor loads your homepage or a WooCommerce product page (and the widget is enabled with a valid API key), the widget in the visitor's browser contacts EcomAudio at <code>https:\/\/app.ecomaudio.com\/api\/v1<\/code>:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Configuration request<\/strong> \u2014 sends the page key (<code>home<\/code> or <code>product:{id}<\/code>) and your API key, and receives the widget settings plus a temporary, signed audio URL.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Play event<\/strong> \u2014 when a visitor taps play, the widget sends an anonymous play event (the audio identifier, a page context, and your API key). No personal data, cookies, or IP-based identifiers are sent by the plugin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Storefront requests are made from the visitor's browser.
