Billit Invoicing for myDATA<\/strong> automatically sends every order to Billit, which\nissues the correct myDATA document \u2014 receipt or invoice \u2014 and transmits it\nto the Greek tax authority (AADE). No manual data entry, no second system to\nmaintain.<\/p>\n\n What is myDATA?<\/strong> myDATA (\"my Digital Accounting and Tax Application\") is\nthe official electronic bookkeeping platform of the Greek Independent\nAuthority for Public Revenue (AADE) \u2014 a public government service, not a\nbrand. Every business in Greece is legally required to transmit its sales\ndocuments (receipts and invoices) to myDATA. This plugin is developed by\nBillit and is not affiliated with or endorsed by AADE.<\/p>\n\n Who is this for?<\/strong> This plugin is useful only to businesses in Greece that\nmust report to myDATA. Because its audience is Greek, the merchant-facing\ntext in the plugin \u2014 and Billit's terms and privacy policy \u2014 are written in\nGreek.<\/p>\n\n Billit Invoicing for myDATA connects itself: click\n\"\u03a3\u03cd\u03bd\u03b4\u03b5\u03c3\u03b7 \u03bc\u03b5 Billit\" (\"Connect with Billit\") in the plugin settings, approve\nthe connection from your Billit account, and you land back already\nconnected. No API keys to copy, no code.<\/p>\n\n After you connect, the settings screen shows a status card: whether a myDATA\nchannel is active, whether both document types (receipt and invoice) exist,\nGSIS credentials for VAT-number autofill, and the default myDATA\nclassification mapping. Each unmet item links straight to the Billit page\nthat fixes it. While you set up, you can keep the store in test mode \u2014\ndocuments are created, nothing is transmitted.<\/p>\n\n If something can't be verified (e.g. a VAT number, a product, an amount),\nthe order isn't lost or silently failed: a draft document is created in\nBillit, you get a notification email, and the order shows \"\u03a0\u03c1\u03cc\u03c7\u03b5\u03b9\u03c1\u03bf \u2014\n\u03c7\u03c1\u03b5\u03b9\u03ac\u03b6\u03b5\u03c4\u03b1\u03b9 \u03ad\u03bb\u03b5\u03b3\u03c7\u03bf\" (\"Draft \u2014 needs review\") with a direct link to finish\nit.<\/p>\n\n A Billit account (free to create during setup) and an active WooCommerce\n8.9+ install. Nothing else.<\/p>\n\n This plugin connects your store to Billit<\/strong> (https:\/\/billit.io), a\nthird-party invoicing service, to issue myDATA documents for your\nWooCommerce orders and transmit them to the Greek tax authority (AADE). The\nplugin is free; issuing documents requires a Billit account (a paid\nservice). Nothing is sent anywhere until you connect your store to Billit.<\/p>\n\n When an order reaches the status you configure (e.g. \"Completed\"), the\nplugin sends that order to Billit so Billit can issue the document. The data\nsent includes: the order number, totals and line items, and the customer's\nname, billing\/shipping address, email and phone. For a business invoice it\nalso sends the VAT number (\u0391\u03a6\u039c), tax office (\u0394\u039f\u03a5), company name and activity.<\/p>\n\n If you enable the optional checkout VAT-number autofill, the \u0391\u03a6\u039c typed at\ncheckout is sent to Billit to look up the public Greek business registry\n(via GSIS\/AADE) and fill in the company details.<\/p>\n\n The plugin also periodically fetches, from Billit, the status of your\naccount setup and of documents already issued. No data is sent to any\nservice other than Billit.<\/p>\n\n By connecting your store you agree to Billit's terms, and your and your\ncustomers' data is processed by Billit as described in its privacy policy.\nPlease review both before connecting:<\/p>\n\n Yes, but you can create one for free while connecting if you don't already\nhave one. Documents are issued through your Billit account.<\/p><\/dd>\n In the plugin settings, click \"\u03a3\u03cd\u03bd\u03b4\u03b5\u03c3\u03b7 \u03bc\u03b5 Billit\" (\"Connect with Billit\")\nand approve from your Billit account \u2014 no values are copied by hand. If\nyour site isn't reachable from Billit (e.g. local development, basic auth),\nthere is a manual token\/secret connection on the same page.<\/p><\/dd>\n There are two different cases. If the order never reaches Billit (a network\nproblem), the plugin retries automatically (after 1 min, 5 min, 30 min, 2 h\nand 12 h) and shows a \"Retry\" button if needed. If the order reaches Billit\nbut something can't be verified (e.g. the VAT number), it isn't lost: a\ndraft document is created, you get an email, and the order shows \"\u03a0\u03c1\u03cc\u03c7\u03b5\u03b9\u03c1\u03bf \u2014\n\u03c7\u03c1\u03b5\u03b9\u03ac\u03b6\u03b5\u03c4\u03b1\u03b9 \u03ad\u03bb\u03b5\u03b3\u03c7\u03bf\" (\"Draft \u2014 needs review\") with a link to finish it in\nBillit.<\/p><\/dd>\n Yes, the COD fee is added as a separate line on the document. For a\ncancellation or refund, the credit note is issued manually from your Billit\naccount.<\/p><\/dd>\n Yes, the VAT number \/ tax office \/ company name \/ activity fields work in\nboth the block-based and the classic checkout.
