The plugin itself is free; sending\/receiving WhatsApp messages is provided by Hooki as a subscription service. The floating WhatsApp button, on the other hand, requires no account at all: it is a simple link to a manually configured number.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to the external Hooki service (api.hooki.pro) to send and receive WhatsApp messages, only if you configure an API Key in the settings.<\/p>\n\n<p>Data sent to Hooki when a notification is active:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Recipient's phone number (customer, site admin)<\/li>\n<li>Recipient's name, when available<\/li>\n<li>The message text, generated from the templates configured by the site administrator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>When: on every event configured by the administrator (e.g. WooCommerce order status change, form submission, booking).
