A visitor writes from the page; the message\nreaches you in Telegram (and, on request, WhatsApp or MAX), and your reply appears back in the\nchat window on the site.<\/p>\n\n<p>This plugin does one thing: it prints the widget script tag with the widget ID you saved in the\nsettings. There is no dashboard inside WordPress, no extra database tables and no background\nwork.<\/p>\n\n<h4>What it does<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Adds the chat widget to every page of the site.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps one setting: the widget ID from your WidgetChat account.<\/li>\n<li>Removes that setting when the plugin is deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>What it does not do<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>It makes <strong>no requests from your server<\/strong> \u2014 not on activation, not on a schedule, not ever.<\/li>\n<li>It <strong>does not track visitors<\/strong> and stores nothing about them in WordPress.<\/li>\n<li>It has <strong>no time-limited trial<\/strong> and no locked features: the plugin is fully functional as it\nis shipped.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>Service used by this plugin<\/h4>\n\n<p>The chat itself is a hosted service, so the plugin is only useful together with it. The script\ntag it prints makes the <strong>visitor's browser<\/strong> load <code>https:\/\/api.widgetchat.ru\/widget\/bozex-support-widget.js<\/code>\nand exchange messages with that address. Mention it in your own privacy\nnotice.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Install and activate the plugin.<\/li>\n<li>Create an account at <a href=\"https:\/\/widgetchat.ru\/\">widgetchat.ru<\/a>, add your site and copy the\nwidget ID \u2014 it starts with <code>wc_<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Settings \u2192 WidgetChat<\/strong>, paste the widget ID and save.<\/li>\n<li>Open your site in a private window: the chat button appears in the corner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>To switch the chat off, clear the widget ID and save \u2014 the plugin stays installed and prints\nnothing.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"do%20i%20need%20an%20account%20on%20the%20service%3F\"><h3>Do I need an account on the service?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. The widget ID is issued in the WidgetChat account and identifies your site, so the plugin\ncannot work without one.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"where%20do%20the%20messages%20arrive%3F\"><h3>Where do the messages arrive?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>In Telegram, in a separate topic per visitor. WhatsApp and MAX are connected on request from the\naccount. Replies from any of them appear in the chat window on the site.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20the%20plugin%20slow%20the%20site%20down%3F\"><h3>Does the plugin slow the site down?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The script tag is loaded asynchronously and does not block rendering. WordPress itself does no\nextra work: the plugin adds one tag and reads one option.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20change%20the%20widget%20appearance%20from%20wordpress%3F\"><h3>Can I change the widget appearance from WordPress?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. Colours, texts, the operator avatar and the button icon are set in the WidgetChat account \u2014\nthat way the same settings apply wherever the widget is installed.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20remove%20everything%3F\"><h3>How do I remove everything?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Delete the plugin: the single stored option is removed with it.
