It makes no remote calls from PHP and stores only two options: your\nagent token and an optional chat language.<\/p>\n\n<p>You need an active Engadi AI agent to use this plugin. Your agent token\n(it looks like <code>wgt_XXXX<\/code>) is in your Engadi portal or onboarding email.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects your site to the Engadi AI service (https:\/\/www.engadi.com).\nIt does not work without it.<\/p>\n\n<p>What it does: the plugin prints a script tag that loads the official Engadi\nwidget loader from <code>https:\/\/www.engadi.com\/widget.js<\/code> in your visitors' browsers.\nWhen a visitor clicks the chat bubble, the widget opens a chat window (an\niframe served from engadi.com) connected to your Engadi AI agent.<\/p>\n\n<p>What data is sent, and when: the chat messages a visitor types are sent to\nEngadi's servers to generate the agent's answers, together with the technical\ndata needed to serve and protect the service (the visitor's IP address for\nrate limiting, and your agent token to identify which agent answers). This\nonly happens on pages where the widget is active; the plugin itself sends\nnothing from your server via PHP.<\/p>\n\n<p>Service provider: Engadi (https:\/\/www.engadi.com).\nTerms of service: https:\/\/www.engadi.com\/terms\nPrivacy policy: https:\/\/www.engadi.com\/privacy<\/p>\n\n<p>You are responsible for disclosing the use of this service to your visitors\nin your own privacy policy, as required by laws such as the GDPR.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins \u2192 Add New \u2192 Upload Plugin.<\/li>\n<li>Choose the <code>engadi-ai-agent.zip<\/code> file and click \"Install Now\", then \"Activate\".<\/li>\n<li>Go to Settings \u2192 Engadi AI Agent.<\/li>\n<li>Paste your agent token (from your Engadi portal or onboarding email) and save.<\/li>\n<li>Optionally pick a chat language (English, Espa\u00f1ol, Fran\u00e7ais, Italiano, Portugu\u00eas).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>The chat bubble now appears on your site.
