Do not activate this plugin at the same time as a private predecessor that renders the same dropdown or dock features. On first activation, compatible predecessor settings are copied when the new settings are still empty.<\/p>\n\n\n
\nDoes this plugin work with other themes?<\/h3><\/dt>\nNo. It integrates with hooks and the settings framework provided by OneNav. If OneNav is not active, the plugin remains inactive and shows an administrator notice.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Where are visitor-created dock links stored?<\/h3><\/dt>\nThey are stored in the visitor's browser using localStorage. They are not sent to WordPress or to the plugin author.<\/p><\/dd>\n
Does the plugin contact an external icon service?<\/h3><\/dt>\nNo. When a visitor does not provide an icon URL, the plugin creates a text icon locally in the browser. If a site administrator or visitor explicitly enters a remote image URL, the visitor's browser will request that image from the specified host under that host's privacy policy.<\/p><\/dd>\n
What happens when I uninstall the plugin?<\/h3><\/dt>\nThe plugin removes its own OneNav theme settings. Browser-local custom dock links remain in each visitor's browser because WordPress cannot delete another person's browser storage during server-side uninstall.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
