A customer from another EU country opens the same page and sees 152.73, because WooCommerce recalculated the price for their VAT rate. Your campaigns, price lists, and printed material no longer match your shop.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Wonderful Fixed Gross Prices<\/strong> turns that around: the gross price you entered is the price everyone pays. WooCommerce keeps calculating the correct tax for each customer \u2014 but it does so <em>inside<\/em> your price instead of on top of it. That is the pricing model most EU shops actually want after the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) rules made foreign VAT rates a daily occurrence.<\/p>\n\n<h4>What the plugin does<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fixed gross prices<\/strong> \u2014 WooCommerce no longer adjusts a product's gross price for customers outside your tax region. The amount on the product page, in the cart, and on the invoice stays the number you entered.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A tax notice that stays true<\/strong> \u2014 with a fixed gross price the percentage differs per customer, so printing \"incl. 20% VAT\" next to the price is misleading and printing \"incl. 0% VAT\" is alarming. The notice can be reduced to a neutral \"incl. VAT\", or to any wording you prefer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>German Market integration<\/strong> \u2014 if the German Market plugin is active, its own tax notice is replaced the same way. Detected automatically, switchable, and completely ignored when German Market is not installed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Net revenue preview<\/strong> \u2014 a fixed gross price means your <em>net<\/em> revenue moves with every rate. The settings page turns your own configured WooCommerce tax rates into a table: what each country's customers pay, how much of it is tax, and what is left for you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>Safety rails<\/h4>\n\n<p>The plugin only works under a specific WooCommerce tax configuration, and it tells you when that configuration is missing instead of silently doing nothing:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Taxes must be enabled in WooCommerce.<\/li>\n<li>Product prices must be entered <strong>inclusive<\/strong> of tax \u2014 that entered gross amount is what gets kept fixed.<\/li>\n<li>Tax must be calculated on the customer address, not on the shop base address (otherwise every customer already gets your base rate and there is nothing to fix).<\/li>\n<li>Other plugins, themes, or snippets hooking the same WooCommerce filter are detected and reported, so a conflict does not go unnoticed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>If a blocking condition applies, the feature switches itself off and an admin notice points to the details. Nothing breaks, nothing is priced wrongly.<\/p>\n\n<h4>For developers<\/h4>\n\n<p>Three filters let you adapt the behaviour:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><code>wonderful_fixed_gross_prices_enabled<\/code> \u2014 whether gross prices are kept fixed.<\/li>\n<li><code>wonderful_fixed_gross_prices_show_tax_notice<\/code> \u2014 whether the tax notice is replaced for a given product.<\/li>\n<li><code>wonderful_fixed_gross_prices_tax_notice_text<\/code> \u2014 the notice text itself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The plugin adds no front-end scripts, creates no database tables, runs no background tasks, and never contacts an external service.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active.<\/li>\n<li>Upload the <code>wonderful-fixed-gross-prices-for-woocommerce<\/code> folder to <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code>, or install the plugin through the <strong>Plugins<\/strong> screen in WordPress.<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin through the <strong>Plugins<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings &gt; Fixed Gross Prices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Check the <strong>Shop configuration<\/strong> panel \u2014 it tells you immediately whether your WooCommerce tax settings allow fixed gross prices.<\/li>\n<li>Choose how the tax notice should read, and enter a gross price to see the net revenue preview.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"does%20this%20change%20the%20tax%20my%20customers%20are%20charged%3F\"><h3>Does this change the tax my customers are charged?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. WooCommerce keeps applying the correct tax rate for every customer. The plugin only changes <em>where<\/em> that tax sits: it is contained in the fixed gross price instead of being added on top of it. Your tax reporting stays correct.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20happens%20to%20my%20net%20revenue%3F\"><h3>What happens to my net revenue?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>It changes with each customer's rate, and that is the trade-off of this pricing model. At a gross price of 100.00 you keep 83.33 from a 20% customer and 78.74 from a 27% customer. The preview table on the settings page shows this for every tax rate you have configured, so the effect is visible before you commit to it.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"my%20prices%20are%20entered%20excluding%20tax.%20can%20i%20still%20use%20it%3F\"><h3>My prices are entered excluding tax. Can I still use it?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No, and the plugin says so instead of pretending. With prices entered excluding tax, WooCommerce adds tax on top for every customer, so there is no gross price to keep fixed. Switch \"Prices entered with tax\" under WooCommerce \u2192 Settings \u2192 Tax, or keep using WooCommerce's default behaviour.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"do%20i%20need%20german%20market%3F\"><h3>Do I need German Market?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. German Market is supported because it renders its own tax notice, which would otherwise still spell out a percentage. Without it, the standard WooCommerce price suffix is used. The plugin works either way.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"can%20i%20keep%20the%20woocommerce%20tax%20notice%20as%20it%20is%3F\"><h3>Can I keep the WooCommerce tax notice as it is?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. Set the tax notice wording to \"Leave the WooCommerce setting untouched\" and only the fixed-price behaviour is applied.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20slow%20down%20my%20site%20or%20contact%20any%20external%20service%3F\"><h3>Does it slow down my site or contact any external service?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. The plugin hooks two WooCommerce filters and adds nothing to the front end.
