It does not work without it.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What the service is used for:<\/strong> running the Google Maps Reviews Scraper actor, which collects the public reviews for the business URL you configure and returns them to your site.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What data is sent, and when:<\/strong> the Google Maps URL you enter in the plugin settings, and your Apify API token for authentication. Nothing else is transmitted \u2014 no site URL, no user data, no analytics, no telemetry. Data is sent only when you click <strong>Sync Now<\/strong>, or when the scheduled automatic sync runs. For most sites a daily sync stays comfortably within it.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"how%20do%20i%20get%20my%20google%20maps%20url%3F\"><h3>How do I get my Google Maps URL?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Open Google Maps on desktop, search for the business, and copy the full URL from the browser address bar.
