Actionable allows the creation of a categroized list of action items for users to check off and track. It was originally developed for Share 350.0 - a plan for regional sustainability<\/a> to help people track their actions and efforts to create a sustainable community.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Extract actionable.zip to your wp-content\/plugins<\/code> directory.<\/li>\n
  2. In the admin panel under plugins activate Actionable.<\/li>\n
  3. View the Actionable admin panel under the Manage menu.<\/li>\n
  4. Add the text <!--actionable form--><\/code> to the page you want the plugin to appear.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    At this time you must manually add categories and actions. I am working to complete the admin panel of actionable to allow the addition of categories and actions from the admin panel.<\/p>\n\n

    You are able to view current actions and categories as well as some elementary statistics from the admin panel which resides under the manage menu.<\/p>\n\n\n

    The easiest way is to use either phpMyAdmin or mySQL GUI tools to directly edit the database. You should look for tables called wp_actionable<\/code> and wp_actionable_categories<\/code> (wp_ is the default WordPress database prefix - if you have changed this look for the table names with your prefix.) Create some categories in _actionable_categories<\/code> first then create some actions in _actionable_actions<\/code> assigning actionable_id<\/code> in _actionable_categories<\/code> to actionable_cat<\/code> in _actionable_actions<\/code> for the appropriate action.<\/p>\n\n

    The next release will allow for category and action creation from the admin panel<\/p><\/dd>\n

    Can I add my own styles?<\/dt>\n

    Yes, just edit the file wp-content\/plugins\/actionable\/css\/styles.css<\/code>.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
