You paste your BotDesk API key once, and the widget appears on the front end of your site. There is nothing to code.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What the assistant does for your visitors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Answers questions about your hours, services, and pricing, using your own site's information.<\/li>\n<li>Captures the visitor's name, phone, and email along with what they asked, and emails it to you.<\/li>\n<li>Routes ready-to-buy visitors toward booking an appointment (on supported plans).<\/li>\n<li>Works around the clock, on any page of your site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>How it works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This is a companion plugin for the hosted BotDesk service at <a href=\"https:\/\/botdesk.studio\">botdesk.studio<\/a>. You need a BotDesk account and API key. The plugin injects the official BotDesk widget script (<code>https:\/\/botdesk.studio\/widget.js<\/code>) into your site's footer with your key. When a visitor loads a page on your site, their browser loads the BotDesk widget script from <code>https:\/\/botdesk.studio\/widget.js<\/code>, and chat messages the visitor sends are processed by BotDesk to generate replies.
