When an order is paid, the electronic invoice is issued automatically, with a real CAE (AFIP\/ARCA authorization code), and the buyer receives it by email and can download it from \"My account &gt; Orders\".<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What it does:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Automatically issues Invoice A\/B\/C when an order moves to \"Processing\" (payment confirmed) or \"Completed\", your choice.<\/li>\n<li>Adds the checkout fields required to invoice (document type and number, VAT status) -- WooCommerce doesn't include these by default. If your store already had its own fields (from another plugin or your theme), FacturAgil can reuse them instead of duplicating them (see FAQ).<\/li>\n<li>Automatic Credit Note if an already-invoiced order is refunded (full or partial).<\/li>\n<li>The buyer downloads their invoice PDF from \"My account &gt; Orders\", without leaving your store.<\/li>\n<li>Never blocks an order if invoicing fails -- the error is logged as an order note and can be retried with one click.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>What you need before installing it:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>A FacturAgil account (free to try). If you don't have one yet, the plugin walks you through creating one in 2 minutes from the same settings screen.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to the FacturAgil API (facturagil.com.ar) to issue AFIP\/ARCA (Argentina's tax authority) electronic invoices for your WooCommerce orders. FacturAgil is the service this plugin is built for -- your store needs a FacturAgil account to use it (see Installation).<\/p>\n\n<p>It sends data to this API in these situations:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>When an order is invoiced (automatically when it moves to \"Processing\"\/\"Completed\", or manually retried from wp-admin): the buyer's document type and number, name, VAT status, email, and the order's line items (description, quantity, unit price, VAT rate) are sent to generate the AFIP\/ARCA invoice.<\/li>\n<li>When a Credit Note is issued (on a WooCommerce refund, or manually from wp-admin): the same order\/item data above is sent for the items being credited.<\/li>\n<li>When downloading an invoice or Credit Note as a PDF (from \"My account &gt; Orders\", or from wp-admin): only the invoice's internal ID is sent, to retrieve the PDF.<\/li>\n<li>When testing the connection or listing your Points of Sale on the settings screen (WooCommerce &gt; FacturAgil): only your store's API key is sent, to authenticate the request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Every request above is authenticated with the API key you generate from your own FacturAgil account (WooCommerce &gt; FacturAgil settings).<\/p>\n\n<p>This service is provided by Patagonia IT. The error is logged as an order note, and there's a button to retry manually from the same order.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20the%20buyer%20need%20to%20create%20a%20facturagil%20account%3F\"><h3>Does the buyer need to create a FacturAgil account?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No. The buyer only sees the invoice download link inside their store's \"My account &gt; Orders\" -- the whole AFIP\/ARCA side is handled by you, the store owner, from your own FacturAgil account.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20support%20woocommerce%27s%20block%20checkout%3F\"><h3>Does it support WooCommerce's Block Checkout?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Not yet -- v0.1 adds the document\/VAT status fields to the classic checkout. If your store uses Block Checkout, contact us.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"my%20checkout%20already%20has%20document%2Fvat%20status%20fields%20%28from%20another%20plugin%20or%20my%20theme%29%20--%20how%20do%20i%20stop%20facturagil%20from%20adding%20its%20own%20and%20duplicating%20everything%3F\"><h3>My checkout already has document\/VAT status fields (from another plugin or my theme) -- how do I stop FacturAgil from adding its own and duplicating everything?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>In WooCommerce &gt; FacturAgil, \"Checkout fields\" section:<\/p>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Check \"I already have document\/VAT status fields in my checkout -- don't show FacturAgil's own\".<\/li>\n<li>In \"Document field name\", enter the <code>name<\/code> of the HTML input in your checkout that stores the ID\/CUIT number (you can find it with \"Inspect element\" on the checkout page -- for example <code>billing_dni<\/code>).<\/li>\n<li>In \"VAT status field name\", do the same with the <code>name<\/code> of your VAT status field.<\/li>\n<li>In \"Values for that field\", fill in which value your field sends for each status (Final Consumer \/ Registered Taxpayer \/ Simplified Regime (Monotributo) \/ VAT Exempt). Leave blank whichever your checkout doesn't offer -- for example, if your store doesn't distinguish Simplified Regime from VAT Exempt, those orders will invoice under whichever mapped status is closest.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>With this on, FacturAgil doesn't add its own fields: when the order is paid, it reads the document and VAT status from your existing fields (inferring ID vs. CUIT by digit count, same as it would with its own fields).<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n<!--section=changelog-->\n<h4>0.1.7<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Fix: translated the plugin header's Description field to English (the readme was already in English since 0.1.6).<\/li>\n<li>Added an \"External services\" section documenting the FacturAgil API calls this plugin makes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>0.1.6<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Fix: this readme is now written in English, as required by WordPress.org's directory guidelines (the plugin's own UI stays in Spanish, its primary audience -- this only affects the directory listing text).<\/li>\n<li>Fix: added the missing \"translators:\" comments for five strings with placeholders, flagged by Plugin Check.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>0.1.5<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Fix: corrected five strings that WordPress.org's automated review rejected for concatenating literals instead of using a single translatable string.
