That's the whole install \u2014 no theme edits, no\n    surgery.<\/li>\n<li>Cromanion adds one small (under 20 kB), asynchronous script to your footer and goes to\nwork.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p><strong>What this plugin is<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>A thin, one-purpose installer for the Cromanion tag. It stores your key and prints the\ncorrect script on every page, so the tag can never drift or point at a stale endpoint the\nway a hand-pasted snippet can. All the intelligence lives in the Cromanion service \u2014 the\nplugin itself adds no gating, no paywall, and does no tracking of its own.<\/p>\n\n<h4>External services<\/h4>\n\n<p>This plugin relies on Cromanion, a third-party SaaS operated by Cromanion, to function. With\na site key configured, the plugin causes each visitor's browser to:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Load the tracking script <code>c.js<\/code><\/strong> from your Cromanion app origin (default\n  https:\/\/cromanion.com\/c.js).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Send behavioural events<\/strong> (page views, clicks, scrolling, timing and similar interaction\nsignals \u2014 pseudonymous, cookieless) to the Cromanion edge ingest endpoint (default\n  https:\/\/in.cromanion.com\/i) for real-time analysis and possible on-page interventions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Report a completed conversion.<\/strong> On WooCommerce, when an order completes, the plugin sends a\nconversion signal with the <strong>order total<\/strong> (a number, for revenue reporting) to the same\nendpoint. No customer details, cart contents, or order ids are sent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>No data is sent until you enter a valid site key. As the site owner you are the data\ncontroller for your visitors' data and are responsible for disclosing this processing in your\nown privacy policy and obtaining any consent your jurisdiction requires. (You can paste the whole <code>&lt;script&gt;<\/code>\ntag too \u2014 the plugin extracts the key.)<\/li>\n<li>Paste the key and save. Cromanion is now live on your public pages.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>You do not need to edit any theme files or touch your <code>&lt;head&gt;<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"do%20i%20need%20a%20cromanion%20account%3F\"><h3>Do I need a Cromanion account?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. This plugin is the installer for the Cromanion service; create your site in the\nCromanion app to get your site key, then paste it here.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"will%20this%20slow%20down%20my%20site%3F\"><h3>Will this slow down my site?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The script is small (under 20 kB) and loads asynchronously in the footer, so it does not\nblock rendering.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20work%20without%20a%20key%3F\"><h3>Does it work without a key?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>No \u2014 and that's intentional. The Advanced section lets you override the app origin (where <code>c.js<\/code> is served) and the\ningest URL.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"do%20you%20detect%20woocommerce%20purchases%3F\"><h3>Do you detect WooCommerce purchases?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. When WooCommerce is active, a completed order is reported as a conversion automatically \u2014\nthe plugin signals it on WooCommerce's order-received (\"thank you\") page, including the order\ntotal. No goal setup is required.
